I used:
Hydrating cream to foam cleanser: after using this cleanser then I used serum on my face there is this whitish stuff like foam that do come out while massaging the serum or essence on my face
What does that mean

Spf daily! You can Use vitamin C serum or Alpha arbutin or tranexamic acid , when constantly using any of these, over time your skin should brighten up
Do you apply it with damp/wet face or not??

PM:

(+ exfoliate or mask once a week)

This is my current skin care routine. You can use Niacinamide AM and PM everyday. Just don't use too much or you might experience some itching, tingling or even burning sensations.
Am:
1)cerave foaming cleanser
2)ordinary niacinamide 10%+zinc 1% serum
3)Dear klarirs soft +airy UV essence SPF 50+ PA++++
Pm:
1)cerave foaming cleanser
2)ordinary niacinamide 10%+zinc 1% serum
3)cerave moisturising cream

@@tasfiah4913 If you are new to 10% niacinamide you can't just jump into using it 2x a day. Start with every other day, once a day.

I accidentally touched the dropper with my hand. but ive read everywhere that you shouldn’t touch the dropper because bacteria will get in your serum. I’m probably overthinking this but would it be fine to still use? Or I should buy a new one? Thanks!!

You can apply on dry skin
Can this be used with differin gel ? I use differin gel at night. I also use the ordinary alpha Arbutin 2% day and night. Can I use that product with the ordinary niacinimde ?

Yes but don’t use it with the retinoid (Differin gel).
You can use niacinamide with a retinol.

P.m. niac first before retinol ... then pat dry..
To avoid skin irritation with retinol ... use the sandwich method... moisturizer first... retinol.. then moisturize again ...
Niac is not to be use with glycolic and other strong acid based products

I believe i have dry skin, but nose gets oily and has texture (sebaceous glands maybe?) I just bought this nicinamide+zinc from ordinary. Is this an okay routine?

In the am i use roc multi correction spf 30 moisturizer with hyaluronic acid as well . Is it okay to mix the aha,bha,pha,txa pad with the ordinary nicinamide? I don’t know what to not mix. Any advice ?
I usually put it on a cotton pad and then apply rabbit on my face…should I not be doing this??
You don’t need to put it on the cotton pad, you can place a few drops on your palm the massage onto your face

@tayebaakther07 ahh, I see… try applying about two drops on your palms, rub together and and pat on the face, don’t rub it on the face to avoid the mousse like effect.

It shouldn’t feel that way, it may be that your skin barrier is compromised, do other products feel the same way too?

Spf is a must as it’ll protect your from further pigmentation. And it also depends on the root cause… once it is established then your can work on fading the pigmentation

Oh yes, you should wait, but not for long. I haven’t tried any of The Ordinary moisturisers, Cerave is good

What type of soap? As long as it’s a facial bar or face wash, that’s appropriate, using your serum after washing your face is the right thing to do.

Niacinamide is suitable for oily skin, it does cause break out on some people.
