    I’ve always rocked wit Wale back when he was doing the go-go joints for the city. He’s more than a rapper... he’s a poet and it’s been hard for him to find a lane and tap all the way in. The hate for him is real and i will never understand it. His last ep was flames. His flow and vibes were perfection. If he can stay in that bag i think more people will get on board with the movement.

    I think part of the reason Wale is so slept on is because he’s not a slave to the radio and he’s not constantly putting out projects every 6 months to stay relevant like most guys out here now. Plus he puts out good quality albums/projects. Majority of what you hear on the radio is microwave bullshit that’ll be forgotten by the end of the year. Idk about anyone else but I’m still bumping the Album About Nothing, Ambition, and The Gifted albums. Quality over quantity any day.

      dc dc I'm speaking more of a personality really not necessarily any street ties because that could be very fragile when you want to change your circumstances I was just thinking about the emotional state of wale.

    • @socialxcurrency8845
      @socialxcurrency8845 6 років тому +2

      I'm speaking on business ties in regards to could guys who helped him push DC Culture; When he says he can't repair bridges he's burnt he's talking about great brothers who got him where he is , but I understand what your saying, I just hate when our people use us and then go on tv like they did it themselves lol.. But you do have a solid point. I think the culture of hiphop was taken away in the 1980s, HipHop was the resurgence of Civil Rights movement but when big labels like Interscope, Columbia, Atlantic.... etc started buying out small labels the pimping of black culture happened, remember rappers used to be ghetto reporter as Wale is now, but that got turned into glorifying the drug dealer, so now we put Jayz on a pedestal and he's done nothing for his own people, I mean yiu can give money to charities but it doesn't solve anything except for his tax break lol ... with all the money in hiphop I wish these rapper and sports players would create dept stores where we can sell our products as well as others, and put it in all major cities, but these guys won't do that, but they'll say theres racism and then ask us to pay $300 dollars for a concert ticket, we have to see what is truly authentic and whats just icing on the cake... I appreciate your reply good brother and you are correct sorry for my long response, stay blessed

Wale is very normal. Don't be simple and everyone won't seem so complicated.

      Larren Green ross has meek, wale is forgotten. Ye would put more energy into wale cuz he can relate to him and i think they would make unbelievable music with wale lyrics and ye production. But thats just me, i don’t their relationship. But i think wale is cutting hisself short and need more of a proper team behind in his corner.

    • @takingover7805
      @takingover7805 6 років тому

      Sharneil Dunn nahhhhh wale don’t got the money and he don’t make the type of music to go indy, he dont make club hits and do shows at clubs and stuff to make money, he need a machine behind him. Most independent guys like gucci and keef and dolph etc make their money from doing shows and performances. Then they have to reinvest that money back into themself.

Like its more conversational rather than Ye relating to something her and the interviewee did 2 years ago - in kind of a weird self gratification method.
