Physical damage mods should apply that physical damage type even if it's not on the weapon. This would make them much more viable and is in keeping with the whole idea of modding weapons.
Physical damage has a logic behind it. It is bound to the physical properties of the bullet, arrow, beam, shape or whatever. Imagine if you had a simple hand knife which pierces and slashes and you try to use it for blunt damage. The same is if you use a hammer, you can bash someone's head in, but if you try to slash someone's wrist, you'd have a hard time. long story short, don't put too much of the same multiplier on your weapons, dont mod for extra IPS as they don't increase DOT. if you're using a primary arcane to increase base damage there is almost no purpose to using a base damage mod.
I would be careful about buying frames in the future because Sevagoth is fairly easy to farm. Trust me, take your time and don't rush because I've seen many people who regret doing that.
@@etherdreamz747 ahhh yeah 10 bucks is rlly not gonna break the bank. I just needed a frame to peak my interest cause the 3 u can choose frm in the begining are trash imo. Eawily worth the 10 bucks for a player that wont reach the farming area for sevagoth in some time. Thx for the advice tho. Im using nidus now and ohhhh man am i having a blast. Between nidus and sevagoth illnvr hace to make a purchase again. Loads of stuff to do on the game
@@slickTheOx5578 I'm assuming you like frames that are very hard to kill. If that's the case, I strongly suggest Revenant. He's not very fun to play (in my opinion) but his second ability is basically god mode. Rhino isn't as tanky as Revenant but also has the damage boost you can make use of.
Really good video! I think you could extend your content to showcase new weapons, explain any synergies they may have with other guns, warframes. It would be interesting to watch. Have a nice day!
I’m so confused. I don’t have half this stuff unlocked and I’m stuck on Jupiter because I can’t complete missions “my level.” All my guns become pea shooters later on no matter how I mod them
i had the same problem then realised that it also has to do with some of the guns you pick, i used the strun up to deimos and thed drakgoon up to neptune and then the fulmin from then on, since if modded properly its simply just better. Im stupid and dont understand a lot of the mods just yet despite have over 100 hours in the game, so i just check overframe for good builds
yeah you're pretty much dependent on your weapons at lower levels but it doesn't mean that you can't deal damage, some mods are quite easily obtainable such as serration( a pain to upgrade) , vigilante armaments, hunter ammunition, point strike, vital sense and so on. Some good early weapons that i suggest trying are the hek, baza, dread, a kitgun (my fav combo is catchmoon, haymaker and splat with the pax charge arcane but you can replace splat by something else if you lack the motivation to grind), dex weapons (if you have them), sybaris(if you don't have a clan i beg you to join one that has all the crafts asap), opticor vandal(not really early game but i recommend going with a high level squad to make the grind way easier), rubico, atomos, ignis( the ignis wraith is given for free to new players reaching MR 9 as a tradition so don't get scammed by people trying to sell it to you)
This game has many exponential properties, damage being one of them. Making tiny adjustments has a huge impact on the damage. So if you have all but one of the mods listed in this video, you'll end up doing only about 1% of the damage you actually need.
Would love to see your go-to build for relic cracking exterminate missions. You probably don't need to run relics anymore, but nonetheless I think it would help a lot of players speed cracking.
Thermal Sunder Titania build. Put Gauss's helminth ability on Titania then build for range without tanking strength. Also, I'd recommend doing capture missions for cracking relics since they tend to be faster.
do more damage.......by doing a couple thosand runs in the steel path to get the arcanes and having 9 forma in the weapon. not quite the advice I was hoping for. at least I know my math was correct though!!!
A couple thousand runs...absolutely not. I've gotten up to nine Primary Merciless arcanes from a single survival and most weapons can be optimised with less than five forma. Not to mention, you can probably get a rank five arcane for fifty to sixty plat.
@@etherdreamz747 my point is if your already at the point where you're getting 9 arcanes from steel path survival it's kinda redundant info. I'm coming at this from the opinion that the type of people who works click on a "do more damage" vid are the players that can't kill stuff at all and still struggling in the standard star chart.
@@BuzzaB77 I had no problem killing things when I started Steel Path either. The only real difference is that you add raw damage to your build in place of the arcane, if you know which faction you need to mod for.
It definitely doesn't take thousands of runs to get all the arcanes. It's random, but all supposedly an equal drop chance. If you're active, the acolytes will spawn and if you kill them, they drop an arcane 100% of the time. I didn't even finish the star chart on Steel Path and never will. Some are complete bullshit.
@@brucenatelee yeah exaggerated I know but the point was most people clicking on a vid called "do more damage" will be struggling in some fundamental way. If your already doing steel path to the point where you can get 21 of the same relics already, then you ain't struggling for damage!
GAS + Electric DoT do proc Deadhead because they're AoE
Also the formula for Tier 2 Crits just works for Tier 2 Crits
you can use this safer formula 1 +(Crit Tier x (modded crit damage - 1)) =

Crit formula:
1 + Crit tier x (base crit damage x (1 + crit damage mod) - 1 )
Let’s use The kronen prime
Yellow crit w/ gladiator might:
1 + 1 (2 x (1 + .60) -1)
1 + 1 (2 (1.60) -1)
1 + 1 (2.20)
1+ 2.20
3.20
Yellow crit w/ organ shatter:
1 + 1 (2 (1 + 0.9) -1)
1 + 1 (2 (1.9) -1)
1 + 1 (2.8)
3.8
Yellow crit w/both
1 + 1 (2 (1 + 0.6 + 0.9) - 1)
1 + 1 (2 (2.5) -1)
1 + 1 (4)
5
What about orange?
1 + 2 (2.2) = 5.2
1 + 2 (2.8) = 6.6
1 + 2 (4) = 9
Red?
1 + 3 (2.2) = 7.6
1 + 3 (2.8) = 8.4
1 + 3 (4) = 13
Also, there’s 5 tiers of crits, but you have the formula, put in some effort, i’m done

long story short, don't put too much of the same multiplier on your weapons, dont mod for extra IPS as they don't increase DOT. if you're using a primary arcane to increase base damage there is almost no purpose to using a base damage mod.
Just started a week ago on Switch. Purchased Sevagoth and im havin a blast. Basically infinity lives. OP frame imo.
If anyone is on switch add me. sLick915
@@kalebwalker6557 325p vs 75 component rush + 50 frame + 20 potato, less than half the plat. good for the cheaper frames ig
Hands Down my new favorite warframetuber! Thanks for making great content ✊🏽
Really good video! I think you could extend your content to showcase new weapons, explain any synergies they may have with other guns, warframes. It would be interesting to watch. Have a nice day!
You are the Number 1 thanks for your work
Math at its greatest
I cant with math bro ima just continue copy and pasting builds onto my frames and wrapons
Video would have been infinitely more helpful if you added captions or showed what you were talking about on screen instead of endgame solo gameplay.
Some things are shown on screen
Thank you very much, I learned way too much on this video. :D
Love your live streams man.
Awesome Video, learned something new today :)
I love this video, finally fell asleep in 5 minutes
this video IS THE ULTIMATE GUIDE to warframe understanding.
@@beanie9918 thanks
yeah you're pretty much dependent on your weapons at lower levels but it doesn't mean that you can't deal damage, some mods are quite easily obtainable such as serration( a pain to upgrade) , vigilante armaments, hunter ammunition, point strike, vital sense and so on.
@@Noxren. ....you get ignis wraith for free?!
Are you supposed to pick it up at a vendor? Or is it just dropped in your inventory?
this video is amazing!!!! you re the number 1
Maybe it’s just me but the math formula are not easily understandable
Made possible with LeamXP, damn this maths is going to be very bad
