    largely forgotten intellectual.....forgotten in part because he doesn't look the part... but one of the most insightful, expansive, incisive, relevant, prophetic....

      Mumford is famous with Deleuzo-Guattarian scholars of philosophy, he was a part of inspiration for their machines... Notice some Frenchmen in the comments, D&G brought 'em here
