it is but full oc will make your fps higher of 10% or lower since its cpu heavy

Thanks for this... Just curious, is Afterburner the ONLY decent OC sw? Sometimes I wonder if it is the culprit for stutters/interrupts, etc... Anyone ever try anything else? I tried the Nvidia App auto-tuning which boosts my Core +165 mhz, which was higher than I had AfterBurner set (150), but it won't let me adjust it and it uses only +200mhz on the VRAM which is so whack.

You don't need afterburner running in the background at all, just turn on the windows logo startup button then it applies the overclock on startup, if you set a custom fan curve you need to run it in the background, if you set a static fan speed then you don't.

@@XillyI’m running a rx 7800 xt with a ryzen 7 7800x3d. I did a plus 75 on the core clock and my score went from 5423 to 5404. So I dropped it by 15 and it went to 5393. I had my fan on auto which it never went over 62 temp. At 100 fan it sounds like a jet engine. lol. Did my score go down because I didn’t have fan turned up to 100 ??
