- When the forces acting on a body is not equal in all directions, there is a resultant force. What is resultant force? How to find the resultant force acting on an object when the forces are:
- in opposite directions
- perpendicular to each other
- in two different directions (not perpendicular to each other)
Catering for IGCSE and SPM students.

truly love ur videoss !!!
Thank you! I hope they are helping you learn and enjoy the process. 😁
thank you sir!!
Thank you 👍
sir i have doubt if the resultant force is zero is that means that the forces are in equilibrium
Yes that is correct
Thank you sir 🥰
thnks a lot sir!
Thanks sir!
You're welcome! 😊
youre really greatt sir thanks
Thank you for your kind words and keep up the great learning attitude. 💪🏽💪🏽
Sir, how to calculate the resultant force for a pulley system?I can find the tension and acceleration but I always get wrong for the resultant force even when I substitute everything back into the equation I formed earlier. For example (Resultant force=W-T)
First you need to determine the direction of acceleration of the object in the pulley system. That will be the direction of resultant force. Then, you form your equation taking the direction of resultant force as positive and the opposite direction as negative. Try it this way and see.
@@MrRuelTuition Okay sir, thank you
