build is coming along nicely. if you can’t find a chris king then maybe consider an FSA Duron X, they’re a pretty sick sealed bearing option for threaded steerers

You should be able to paint gold in that area of the derailleur. Then carefully wipe off the excess. This is gonna be a sweet bike!!
