So true. In 1981, I bought my wife a 1978 Seville Elegante. It was in showroom mint condition with 4,900 miles. The original owner was a retired GM exec. who worked at the Van Nuys, Ca. Firebird/Camaro plant. He bought the car for his wife who drove 5 miles a day round trip to the health club. The car was fully dealer serviced at Casa de Cadillac in Sherman Oaks, Ca. Oil changed and car detailed every four months like clockwork. The car was a real head turner.
