I watched the original a long time ago, I’ll have to watch it again though. I forgot a lot of it. I’m really looking forward seeing Twisters. I’m a big fan of Daisy Edgar-Jones. I haven’t seen her on the big screen. She’s an amazing talent.
People that have seen the original Twister knows this movie is not a sequel it’s a stand alone movie with Twister references in it and if it was a sequel it would have been called Twister 2 and Helen Hurt and the other actors who are still alive would be in it if it was a sequel
I mean… I just watched the original, loved it, and I respectfully disagree. I do agree it would’ve been cool for Helen Hunt to return but hey, she may have a cameo we don’t know about 🤷♂️
@@ENatement the cinematography of the first film is incredible mostly because the director Jan DeBont is mainly a cinematographer himself so he knows how to stage and set up a shot. he also directed Speed and Tomb Raider the Cradle of Life. its really a shame that he was not involved in any capacity on twisters sequel :( the film would have benefitted greatly with him on board.

Interesting! And yeah, it's unfortunate when original crew and even cast aren't involved in some way on sequels.
