- Today we have 5 Bourbons, same distillery. David poured 5 samples blind for Jaime. She mixes them up so he can participate. We nose, taste, review, rank then reveal.

Knob Creek 9 is my daily. It's hard to beat for the money. I rotate between it and Turkey 101. Life is good.
I'm having a pour of Michter's SiB rye tonight....nice middle of the road rye, not too minty or spicy. A real easy drinker.
Knob Creek 12 here for $60. And on the shelf. So much I'm drowning in it 😂. Fun blind David. Thanks for another great video guys!
Sounds like that's a good problem to have. I gotta get a KC 12 to try and at least have an opinion. 99% sure I'll like it. That's what my credit card is worried about, another great $60 bottle.
@@andrettski8686 it is. No complaints from me. About $66 after tax and better than a lot of allocated bottles on the shelf.
@@WhiskeyMyersour $129.99. Before tax… when I bought mine
I rather like Basil Hayden (YES, I WENT THERE, HAHAHAHAHAHA) 🙂In all honesty, I think it has enough flavor to make it a decent sip and I often want a lower proof sip with some flavor. The issue is the price ... there are too many others out there that provide the same experience for less. Oh, and you said Jim Beam first.........
I'm worried when I try KC 12, that I will only want that over my KC 9. I buy more KC 9 than anything, $28 at WA State Costco's. KC 12 is $58. I'm a big fan of Baker's 7 $49
KC9 small batch is still a great pour. It used to cost me about the same but it's gone up a bit here. Still under 40 but it's about 34-35 now.
Favorite distillery for my palette. Love JB products. You didn't have one in this lineup, but KCSB's are hard to beat. Right there with the 12y.
Crown Liquors in Avon Indiana 19.96 a bottle for Knob Creek 9 100 proof, picked it up last week. Had several cases, if you like it and are in the area don't miss out. It's 39.99 per unit where I live. I grabbed 2.
Russell Reserve is a quality pour, always available and less than $50. Cheers
The Jim Beam single barrel is like $28 in Kentucky but is $40 in the Chicago area. Definitely a poor value at that price. Makes no sense.
100% agree on little book 7. Love it.
Great video. Pics when you guess straight try and guess what you’re drinking
I would love to have KC12 as my daily!
As a huge Jim Beam fan I really enjoyed this video. For me for some reason I like Knob 9 over the 12. Then it would probably be the Jim Beam Black 7year. Basil Hayden was actually the first bourbon I actually enjoyed neat.
We appreciate you watching. Cheers🥃
KC9 was one of the first non WT bourbons I've tasted. It is a good non-high rye mash bill bourbon.
I get KC 12 for $60-$65 by me 😁
I get the horrible green note with Basil Hayden. Haven't had the 7 year. I love both Knob Creeks. The 12 is better than the 9, but for me the 9 is an insane value because I see her routinely at $19 at Costco. And the 12, I can get for under $50 at Costco.
Good comparison selection. All of the stores around me already have Little Book 8 for $150
Can never go wrong with the Beam!!
Knob 12 is still one of the best values in whiskey right now. Truly better than Knob 9, and totally worth double that price, IMO. Hopefully Jim Beam doesn't get greedy and jack up the price of KC12. Great video guys, keep up the great work.
Thank you so much!
Ok, So the 12 year is now on my shopping list
KC 9 is really the gold standard at its price
Howdy folks! Hard to beat the KCs! Thanks!
Jamie is a rock star!
its funny that just as i got this video i just poured a KC12
Dude! She had you on her first guess! lol.
The look on your face when you realized you were in trouble for saying "Man's Bourbon" 🤣
The descriptions are very entertaining.
Right?
"It's so gooey. I love that!" I bet she does.
Jamie has a great palate!
I get the Knob Creek 9 yr 1.75 liters at Costco for $53. Can't beat that for a bourbon value.
I haven't bought a 12 year yet for the $75 since I'm still nursing a 13 yrs and 10 months Knob single barrel that I paid $45 for.
KC is always good
I mean, I'm not here because of them... But it certainly doesn't hurt.
