This was a great video! To share my quick lookup, the DNS "A Record" stands for "address", and "MX" stands for "Mail Exchange". Easy to remember in context
Thank you. Very well explained. I understood the difference between Domain Name Registrar and DNS. The Registrar I was using provides DNS also and it was getting very difficult to understand what was going on.
what are the advantages of having DNS separately hosted (not on Godaddy?) you mentioned that you can individually configure A and MX records. But you can do the same thing if it was hosted on your registrar (godaddy) another point from the video is that it's more secure. Not sure how that works. Is that the only advantage of using Cloudflare over godaddy? extra security (if true) is a plus. But extra difficulty, having two separate accounts, having to remember two passwords is a disadvantage
I have the domain, made my page on squarespace. The thing is my domain registrar is based in a university in my country. Namecheap does DNS and when I signup they said my domain applies for free DNS... a link all host and Ip from squarespace to namecheap. The connection didn't really happen... am I doing this right?
Does the registrar always have to remain the same for a domain name ? What prevents them from hiking the price up if you can't take your domain elsewhere ?
I have purchased domain name from godaddy, want to host it to infinityfree.net and also want to use clouldflare, all three ie domain registrar, hosting provider & cloudflare provide nameservers, which nameservers should be pointed at whom, really confused???? ourcreativestore.com
Thank you for explaining: I have quick question, Example if I want to divert the emails to email hosting... Where should I create a mx record.. do you want to configure on the DNS provider or domain registrar
Well Danny, that's the big secret see.. we have created a monopoly from nothing and wrapped it up with a lot of bullsxxt to make it appear like we are actually doing anything at all. It's just a trick to make money. With a little research into NGINX you will soon discover how you never needed any of us to begin with hahaha! Of course we are not telling everyone about this Danny.. you gotta look at the millions of dollars we will lose once more people like you start asking the questions that really matter. You already paid for Internet access that you should not have to pay for. . In fact Internet providers, cellular phone srvices, radio stations.. all of us should be paying you Danny. Why? Because we are passing invisible waves through your body 24 hours a day 7 days a week and you wanna no know the real big secret Danny.. we have no idea what the long term effects on you or your offspring will be.. Nobody in my entire industry has a dang clue what the long term effects will be but yah know what.. We don't care.. all we care about is how much money we are making. You don't matter. Your kids don't matter.. we don't care if you die from these invisible waves as long as we get paid. So go be a good little sheep and stop asking questions that really matter Danny.. can't you just be like everyone else and bend over for us bud.. come on man.. we have been screwing everyone since the late Eighties and making a killing at the same time. We don't need people asking questions like that Danny.. if you all figure out the scam we will be screwed. So whatever you do.. don't research NGINX or how to create your own DNS (Domain Name Server) you don't need to know anything about DNS tunneling or SSL.. just keep paying us for the bs show we all reviews putting on for everyone bud.
@@amberjohnson6969 Ingenuity finds itself always lonely...and Idiocracy is un-needingly abundant everywhere. And A.J. My Man you are an Awaken one for sure. You nailed it. And unfortunately there's no one to see. For they all have eyes and yet they don't wanna see..
Uh oh.. we got another one over here thinking for himself.. seems to be spreading. Can't you just be a good little sheep like the rest of the herd. We stand to lose millions if people like you keep asking the questions that really matter.. what are we gonna do with out our Olympic size pools and Sixty Million dollar homes! Look just keep paying ok.. don't leave hear and research anything like NGINX, SSL, DNS TUNNELING OR VPN HOST TUNNELING.. DEFINITELY DO NOT RESEARCH WIREGUARD-GO VPN TUNNELING on github.. you don't need to turn an old router into a server or WiFi repeater.. just buy ours and us for not doing anything except lying to you and hiding the truth ok. That's That's a good little sheep.. now run along and join the rest of the herd honey bye bye
VERY MESSY EXPLANATION OF WEB PLATFORM. HAVE NOTHING TO UNDERSTAND ANYTHING ABOUT IT. NOTHING! Press Dislike or report this guy, he has no rights to earn money from that
Finally, someone who could explain these three components in layman terms. Thank you.

Some provide domain transfer. Some don’t.

Sorry, just seeing your question. You would setup your MX records at your DNS.
Thanks!
Do we have to use VPN router, for Redundant..?
A VPN is more for an end user, not for running a website
thank you for the video. Please I know you pay for the domain name registration, how about the hosting? do you pay for it too?
Yes nothing is free in life :-)
It is possible to host for free. Azure, Firebase, github, Google Drive etc.
Thank you!!!!
Heisenberg
helpful
Thanks Man!
Thank you.
That was good
What is a register and what do thay really do?
Why do we have to pay them and is there any way to fo my own registration?

I feel that the video created more questions that was attempted to be answered. Just trying to be constructive.
merci
I can't focus I just look at the hat
