if you use google translate you can pretty much hear that jin is actually never mentioned in the languages that have actual voices on them. it literally sounds like d -zin in foreign languages that have voices on them and then zin in proper English, also in Lithuanian it is not jinn either at least from what my Slavic buddies tell me.
