Great tutorial! I actually made a similar gimmick a month back and performed a change as part of a presentation for school. So I changed a folded blank piece of paper to real money. I just palmed the real money and had the gimmick attached to the paper. Just a little idea 😉
Also the money can be handed out and examined since it isn't attached to the gimmick.

how do you start the effect? i mean do you have to mount the gimmick and go around with a coin at your fingertips the whole day?
That's a GREAT question bud. Like most magic tricks you need a little setup. What I recommend doing, since this is just a quick visual, is to already have the coin ready at your fingertips before you perform this effect. Another alternative is to put a second safety pin (this will act as a "stopper") near the opening of your sleeve and run the elastic in it; you'll be able to reach the coin easily!
Why my coin can't smooth go into the jacket, it always hit my sleeve where my wrist are.
