Hi Oliver- Great video! Do you have the part number for the alternator front pivot bolt? ( the 12mm that is on the right side) I cant find it anywhere.... the head of my bolt is torn so its pretty tough to fasten or take out. thanks
Thanks mate for a positive feedback 🥰 sorry I don’t know the part number 😬 the best way is to ask toyota 😉 or if you have a sample bring it to a Bolt shop 😉 another option is car wreckers 😉
This is really useful as is, but I gotta say the whole magic snap thing means you skip over 80% of what I want to know about how exactly to remove the components in such a tight space.
Toyota OEM parts typically last in excess of 200,000 km and most will go easily into the 300,000 km and farther up here in Canada. Timing chain tensioner leaks are very commonplace though with Toyota engines.
Mate Timing Belt is one of the important components of car don't wish the you snap or broke a timing belt :-) you will end up buying a motor if that happened :-(
Brilliant love your work💯👌👍
Thanks mate for a positive feedback 🫡

Mate there is a Part 2 on that video
And Part 3 😉
Look up L3Colorado she’s got exact details of everything. Best mechanic around.
If you want to strip the threads on your puller kit make sure to use an impact on it.
I always do that one mate it never strip the treads maybe I’m just only lucky 😅
@@oliverthemechanic8532 Maybe so. I used to do it until eventually my puller decided it didn't want to be threaded anymore.
I agree specifically when the pulley is stubborn 👌
What year RAV4 is this? Nice video
Sorry Mate Im not Quite-sure but the engine is 3S-FE

Thanks for ur info....
It's a non-interference engine. Will not damage the engine if the belt breaks

I can’t understand what u mean mate sorry 😬 crank gear?
