Hallicrafters SX 100 Pt1 unpack and power up

The SX-100 Is a dual conversion Shortwave radio
In late 1955 this radio was almost 300.00 +17.00 for the matching speaker That about 2,500.00 dollars today
This set was in unknown status and could not be powered up
This is a Mark II A Version

Electronics aside, the mechanical engineering on these old radios is astounding. Very nice packing/shipping on that one.
