One family: twins, triplets, and then another set of twins

For most couples, the chances of having twins without fertility treatments are low. Triplets are considered a rarity.
But an Ottawa-area family has defied these odds, producing twins, triplets, and then another set of twins over the course of two generations.

My neighbor is one of seven. Her mom had Twins, triplets, and the twins! All from the same parents and no fertility drugs. My neighbor had twins and so did her sister. So this story isn’t as rare.

All 3 sets (2 sets of twins and the triplets) are identical type! Wow, now that is phenomenal. Usually when there's a 2nd set, they are usually fraternal.

I have a friend who had twins. She got pregnant again and had twins. The doctor told her if you get pregnant again you WILL have twins again. She stopped.

This is true. I had 2 sets 5 years apart and my second would have been triplets had I not lost one at 10 weeks. We stopped. 3 boys, 1 girl. 38 and 33 now. Good times.

I have two sets of twins and one singleton but they think the last set of twins was triplets and I lost one at 9 weeks. Guess some of us are just naturally blessed x

I know a twin girls, then a triples girls, then a one boy, next a girl and a boy twins, and then a girl! I helped with the triples and I was 13 years. The first twins are know 68 years old. And if course with the same parents.

Interestingly enough, Dad said - one, then two, then three. There's 2 ways to interpret that statement.... One was born, then twins, then triplets..... or was he specifically talking about discovering mom had 3 in her belly.

I had twin sons that are fraternal and my OB/GYN told me I had a very high chance of not only having twins again but maybe triplets! I told him the hell I do and at 4 months pregnant without telling my ex I signed the paperwork to get my tubes tied!!!!!! Even when I was in the hospital before my C-section Dr told me I could change my mind I said NOPE!!! So at 25 I had a tubal right after my C-section.
