  • Cruises are supposed to be fun!! But from mysterious disappearances to unfortunate accidents, here are ten times when cruise ship trips went horribly, horribly wrong!
    Subscribe For New Videos! goo.gl/UIzLeB
    10: Banned for Life
One of the worst things you can do on a cruise ship, besides commit some kind of heinous crime, is to jump over the edge. A young man from Vancouver recently did just that, and while he definitely earned a quick flash of Internet fame when the video of him leaping off a Royal Caribbean cruise ship went viral, he is also now banned for life from ever getting on one of their boats again.
    9: An Unfortunate Tumble
It's one thing to jump off a cruise ship on purpose, but here is a guy who accidentally fell from a cruise ship. But it gets even crazier than that. According to CNN, the man fell off his cruise ship and was rescued by a different cruise ship over 5 hours later.
    8: A Suspicious Vanishing
In August of 2004, a woman named Merrian Carver boarded a ship with Celebrity Cruises in Seattle, bound for Alaska. She thought it would be fun to travel alone. But things started to get weird when Merrian’s daughter could not get ahold of her.
    7: Cruise Ship Killer?
On the cruise ship Disney Wonder, a British crew member named Rebecca Coriam went missing on March 27, 2011, and some believe that she was murdered. Not only do they believe Rebecca was murdered, but they also believe the cruise ship operators could be playing a part in covering up the gruesome details.
    6: Kidnapped by the Crew?
In a horrendous story from 1998, Amy Lynn Bradley not only vanished from a cruise ship, but was considered kidnapped! It happened on March 24 when her father had woken at around 5:30 in the morning and noticed her there - so she was definitely still around in the early morning hours
5: Murder on the High Seas
A man from Utah named Kenneth Manzanares is facing life in prison after he turned an ordinary cruise ship trip into a murder scene. It all happened in 2017 when Kenneth and his wife got into an argument after she told him on the cruise ship that she wanted a divorce.
    4: A Horrible Birth
If you’re nine months pregnant, you probably shouldn't be getting on a cruise ship. And yet a woman from Indiana in October of 2011 gave birth alone on a cruise ship during a trip to Saint Maarten.
    3: The Diamond Princess
Perhaps the worst cruise anyone could have been on in 2020 was the Diamond Princess. The trip began to turn sour three days in. China had shut down all travel from the interior city of Wuhan, the world was in panic, and the passengers were relaxing in the sunshine.
    2: Slippery Fingers
It doesn't get much more unfortunate than the story of Salvatore Anello, the grandfather who accidentally let his granddaughter slip through his fingers and fall to her death. Salvatore later pled guilty to negligent homicide.
    1: Life in Prison
This terrifying tale should be a script for a horror movie. A couple of teenagers broke up and drifted apart, then reunited three decades later, fell in love as adults, got married, and then suddenly one of them murdered the other one and left them on the bathroom floor of a cruise ship.

In order for a passenger to "fall" off a cruise ship, you are either doing something stupid or thrown off. No one "falls" off

As the narrator mentioned, these people are inevitably DRUNK. Stupid drunk people can indeed "fall". There has been at least one baby who fell.

@@messrsandersonco5985 like I mentioned, "doing something stupid" there a many drunk's on any cruise, and they are all fine as long as they aren't doing something stupid that puts them in a situation that they are risking a fall. I was on the ship when the baby fell because of her grandfather who did something extremely STUPID. I've been cruising and following the cruising industry for 30 years and never once have I not run into people who aren't stupid on a ship because they put thier life in danger, you see it all the time.

I've gone on cruise ships since I was about 2-4 I never thought something like this could happen. Yes someone falling off, I knew that could happen, but going missing? Never. I remember when I was like 6, I got lost on a cruise ship. My parents were worried sick about me. But I asked a stranger for help, and of course since I was 6, I didn't understand that that person could have potentially hurt me or took me or even throw me over! But he helped me back to my parents. RIP to the people who have gone missing and to they're families. 💔 Never would I thought something so horrific could happen. 😕

I was on a cruise once and there was a suicide, the guy neatly packed up his things by the railing on the 11th floor, took off his lanyard, climbed up and took a dive. 7:20AM the entire ship was mustered to our stations so they could count us. Some folks weren't looking too good at that hour. They knew it was a suicide because his friends reported that he had been pleading with them to stay with him that night but everyone said they didn't know it was that bad and told him they'd see him in the morning. 30-year old guy from Ireland.

I’ve been cruising many, many times , with different cruise companies & in different parts of the world and there’s no way someone could accidentally fall overboard ( it’s either that person jump ,someone lift you & drop you over or drunk & acting stupid
🛑 advice: when on vacation it’s the time to be more vigilant “ DO NOT let your guard down” do your homework check video online about your destination , learn the Do’s & the Don’ts of that country , have the phone # of your embassy & consulate for visiting country , stay alert ) don’t drink too much) you’ll enjoy your vacation brtter

Yes we went on the royal Caribbean cruiser for a family reunion and one of the stops was St Martin and one of our cousins family’s went 4 wheeling and they couldn’t get back in time because of the traffic they came back to the dock just to see the cruise sailing away. None of the kids had passports and the couldn’t get back to America it took they a LONG time to work things out but in the end they were okay.

I always have to wonder if some of these people were actually murdered. I used to cruise almost every year sometimes twice a year one year I was on the Caribbean Princess cruise ship enjoying my time at the Skywalkers Lounge Bar nightclub. On the way back to my cabin after the club had closed I was followed by a man dressed all in black very similar to clothing that of a staff member would wear. No matter where I went he always was behind me or ducking around the corner. I Got Away by running upstairs onto an elevator I could literally hear his footsteps slamming down on the metal deck through the carpeting behind me chasing me only the fact that the elevator was in the process of closing was I able to get on so he didn't have quite enough time to also get on the elevator but I could literally hear him pounding on the elevator door while the elevator was going up. Even more scary is two days later I saw him again following me this time he pointed at me and then made a gesture with his finger across his own throat to indicate he's going to kill me with a very evil look in his eye he literally started to run towards me I panicked turned and went around a glass partition that is out on the outer decks to protect from wind. I was so distracted and distraught I ran right into another passenger which actually worked in my favor because the person following me then ran into the cruise ship. I apologized to the passenger that I ran into and explain what happened. I then reported the incident to security and had told them that this guy had done this twice to me trying to follow me and even making threatening gestures. I really wanted to be able to look at the camera footage because there's cameras everywhere on board but they told me that it was against their policy and that they would look into it themselves when I went back down to the purser's desk the following day to see what was found . I was told that they saw exactly what I was talking about on camera but they somehow lost track of the person when he entered the cruise ship which I find very hard to believe as I have stated already there are literally cameras everywhere it's like Las Vegas the only place there's not cameras is inside bathrooms and the cabins. I also found it extremely suspicious that they could not identify him as your picture is taken immediately upon entering the cruise ship so they should be able to identify every solitary person onboard however I was told that they could not identify him. I believe what really happened was is that it was an employee that they were covering for trying to protect their reputation. like a cover-up the way it was handled. I still occasionally have a nightmare about what happened I can't even begin to describe to you how extremely evil the expression on this guy's face was and how threatening the gesture he made was. I'm not usually one to run but I felt like this guy could have very easily thrown me overboard and no one would have been the wiser that's why I chose to run. I can't help but think if it was an employee that he murdered somebody already in the past. And could even be working for another Cruise Line doing it all over again if they did actually recognize him and fired him. What people don't realize is cruise companies won't make reports of incidents like that to the police because they don't want to ruin their reputation especially if an employee is involved. It's much easier for the cruise line just to fire the employee. So I really hope he's not working on some other Cruise Lines somewhere. And if it was a passenger possibly the cruise line did not want to get involved giving me any information about the passenger. So that the the report would go nowhere. I truly pray my assumption is completely and totally wrong . I also really hope the guy was just trying to scare me and wasn't actually going to really do anything. But I can't get the image out of my head of the way he looked at me and gestured it definitely did not seem like a joke to me especially the fact that he followed me twice and he showed absolutely no fear like someone that is truly deranged.

I was on the exact same cruise as the guy on 0:22
I didn’t find out what happened until about 3 pm when i was eating a Taco when the person to the table beside me mentioned it.
Being the eavesdropping person i am i got into the conversation real quick.
His name was Spencer and he and his girlfriend friend’s balcony was about 5 to the left and 3 decks down. he and his Girlfriend were sitting out on their balcony drinking there coffee when all of a sudden they hear a splash. They looked over there balcony and saw that out line of a splash and dude swimming towards a boat. They immediately started looking for were he came from. They saw dudes above them filming and laughing and they guessed were he cam from.

I went on the Disney Fantasy in Oct of 2014 for a Pirates of Caribbean Halloween themed cruise and an older gentleman that was on that same cruise as myself. Unfortunately.... God rest his soul. Had sadly passed away while we were docked in Cozmel due to a massive heart attack. I felt so bad for his wife and family. However Disney was absolutely amazing as they paid for the gentlemen's body to be flown back home as well as the entire family of six that was with the gentlemen from Cozumel

I went on a cruise like nine months ago in like March or something and I was traveling to Dominican Republic and when we left Port we ran into a sandbar and we were stuck there all night and the ship was listing like really badly and yeah every morning after that bootleg headache these like emergency calls at like 6 AM and it was chaotic and then they ended up flying us home the second day or at least me some of like the other people that needed like medical help and stuff got off the first day and then like the least important people whatever they’re called a multiple of them they got off the last day and they ended up having to stay in a hotel because there’s no flights ready for them to go home and there was like lots of damage there so yeah that’s the weirdest thing that’s ever happened to me and then last cruise that I went on in September they had to fly somebody off the ship for emergency reason or something yeah

Luckily we were near our private island, daytime, good weather, so we made it back to Miami. In 1999, in the harbor in Houston a tug hit our ship and our prop sliced it. It tried to make it to shore, but sunk. Our ship was taking on water so we hauled ass to Mobile for 2 weeks of drydock and repairs.

Before I wanted to go on a cruise, but that was before I was diagnosed with a rare Auto inflammatory illness. I literally have no immune system because of the medication I'm on. So now I just see cruise ships as floating Petri dishes. And this last year and a half did not help at all.
I'm really confused by the one where she gave birth to a baby and never called anyone. He said that she had just recently found out she was pregnant, so she knew she was pregnant and unless she had not been to the doctor, she should have known that her due date was quickly approaching. Even if she could physically not stand up, after the shock wore off she couldn't bang on a wall or something? This is just my opinion but I really think there should have been more accountability. She watched her baby die and did nothing. We weren't talking a few minutes. It said it was a couple of hours.
