      Never seen the remakes. Saw the 1995 movie and the TV series. The only Jumanji that will forever be the best in my view.

      They're not remakes. They're sequels. The intro scene of Welcome to the Jungle clearly showed how the board game transformed into a video game cartridge, because Alex Vreeke (whose father found the board game) wasn't interested of board games. And a treehouse that used to belong to Alan was shown.

    I think the "Stalker" should've appared in more than just two episodes. Because I don't think Alan, Judy and Peter ever fully figured out why he chased them in those two episodes, even though we viewers did know.
    Besides, I would've liked to see an explanation why Jumanji board game existed in the first place, and why the game (with help of the Stalker) is so adamant to make sure people will play it.

      Honestly, i like to believe it's because the games existence depends on superstition: people who play the game or even believe in it. In the movie with Robin Williams, the game was still around years later with no one playing it by the time Alan found it in 1969, and then years later woke up for Peter and Judy in the Parrish house. The game requires people who believe Jumanji exists and is a dangerous game, and so forth, it will continue to remain. Because:
      Whatever happened in the 1800s movies clearly left an impact on the boys, as they both were terrified. If we admit that they played, got scared, and finished, theres a chance that they remembered the horrors of the game, and that kept the game alive. Even with its drums beating, the game drummed when Alan and Sarah threw the game into the river at the end of the film. When the game reemerged for Alan, it sensed Alan was in need of something, and henceforth reached out to give it to him, albiet in a dangerous way. The reason the game went dormant when Alan was sucked in was because it became unplayable with one player trapped and one player scared shitless: and with Sarahs underlying fear of the game, it managed ti stay alive until Judy and Peter were in need years later. Then, once the game finished, it was thrown into the river and washed away, deumming, but satisfied with Alan and Sarahs knowledge of it. Then later, when it tried to get played in the 2017 film, it converted to a video game due to the teen ignoring the game due to its old nature: that caused it to switch, as it needed believers to continue. In essence: The game sends the Stalker and converts to different systems as it requires BELIEVERS to live. Alan taking the dice meant the game could not be played, so no new players, no new believers. Alan was not working from that point as he had been there for years already, players in the game dont count as they became part of the game. The game nets believers by finding people in need of something in order to entice them to play. As of 2017.....we dont know what Jack wanted, but most likely he needed something and the game chose him. And the teens were sucked as they needed to grow. So basically, Jumanji IS am SCP. Sorry if this is confusing

    5:03 Okay That's Weird, Van Pelt And The Jumanji Animals Ran In Fear Of The Dice, What's Up With That?

      I think that means The Stalker is coming which is the most powerful figure in Jumanji. According to the Jumanji Fandom website, The Stalker is or was, "the demonic grim reaper-like villain who is the protector and "Game Over" demon of "JUMANJI" and may be the actual intelligence behind "JUMANJI", as well as the most powerful inhabitant of the game". Which probably explains why Van Pelt and the animals ran in fear.

    Why were the creatures and the hunter afraid of the dice

    • @Solider7
      @Solider7 Місяць тому

      It's not the dice they're afraid of, but the glowing light and who that light represents. That scary grim reaper dude. He's called The Stalker, the overseer of Jumanji. Without the dice, the game can't be played. That is completely unacceptable to The Stalker. By Jumanji law, their must alway be players. The glowing dice is a warning from The Stalker to all of the beings and creatures to stay away from the dice or whoever has them, in this case, Alan. The Stalker will make it his personal business to retrieve the dice and eliminate Alan, now that he's made himself a direct threat to Jumanji.
