The phase two Fox is way more iconic. I’m going to wait to get that one. It’ll happen eventually

For Fox I actually prefer the P1 design by a lot, so I’m glad they did this version. However I can see why people think it’s a weird decision with the Coruscant troopers only being available as a P2 version.

Seeing Phase 1 Fox in the realistic style instead of the animated style is definitely interesting imo. But still a cool figure and cant wait to see what theyll do with phase 2 Fox!

Phase one paired with phase two makes zero sense, unless we’re talking phase one troopers paired with phase 2 arc troopers. Disappointed that Hot toys misses so many details.

The only way it would make sense is if this image takes place during the period where the Coruscant Guard is transitioning to phase 2 armor and not every clone has switched yet.

@Nightcall00 True, sadly. Hot Toys has been making some really good clones, but they also keep consistently getting little details wrong (no = symbol on many clones, no blue stripes on Jesse's hand armor, wrong chin and missing bandoleer strap on 501st heavy trooper, etc.).

It looks like there was at least 2 episodes where the antenna was white. It was the episode where Cad Bane uses the senators has hostages and when Fox direct the maintenance
droids to the power generator on Coruscant. The episode where they captured Zero the Hut, the antenna was black.

I picked mine up on pre-order, as I'm absolutely obsessed with clones. However, even as a clone trooper fanatic and while appreciating the skill and craftsmanship of the hot toys clones, it’s so hard to ignore the phase mixing. Phase 2 does not belong with phase one (the only exception being when the ARC troopers were testing version 1.5). I will also agree with the inconsistency of the product shelf. I will be displaying mine with the AOTC P1 as there is no alternative. I believe to lead the CG we’ll get commander thorn. Hoping to the likes of Wolffe, Bacara, Gree and Bly from hot toys! The sideshow commander fox I think would look well in a clone wars animated display and the hot toys version would work well in a live action display

I learned my lesson with echo’s hand when i tried to put the blaster i made like a chip inside his hand so now every figure i get i heat the hand with an hair dryer it really helps

I’ve got this guy on his way to my house as we speak. I’m definitely quite excited, as a new clone is always a good time (especially a commander.)
The figure itself in a void is incredible imo, but I 100% agree with many others on their frustrations with certain decisions hot toys makes. At times their exclusion of certain accessories, blatant inaccuracies that could be fixed with the same level of effort, and other creative choices is nothing short of confusing at times. On top of that, I don’t know if it’s better or worse when it’s clearly intentional (we all know why we didn’t get phase 2 swap out pieces.)
Aside from all that, it doesn’t make me any less excited to get him in hand. It’s just a bummer when something that is otherwise definitive piece is missing just a few things. It would be nice for HT to fill that role, rather than customs parts or figures to be needed.

The names of the DC-15 blasters changed when Disney took over and separated it into cannon and legends. In legends, the shorter carbine was referred to as the DC15s (standing for short) as well as the DC-15c (standing for carbine), and the full rifle was the DC-15a. Now in canon, the short carbine is the DC-15a, while the full length blaster rifle is called also called a DC-15a, although more often just a DC-15. It’s all super messy and convoluted, the simplest way to differentiate is just to use the length: the short one is the DC-15 blaster carbine and the long one is the DC-15 blaster rifle.

I really want to watch the entire Clone Wars series, i have all the discs but not the time it feels, but yes Fox did save Padme from Zero although I also can't remember the whole context, I know she was disguised and I think trying to go undercover but I can't remember much else besides the IG-38s. I mostly remember the Coruscant guard in another episode when Cad Bane breaks Zero out say "oh my god" when Zero started bitching about the sun lol.
Honestly, even though Fox is a jerk for a lot of reasons, if I was a Clone, breed for war and had to wait around all day dealing with petty crap and acting as police and guards for snooty senators and other officials, I'd be on edge too.

Oooh I think I remember now, after looking it up again. It was the Clone Wars movie. Padme went to Zero to get him to convince Jabba that the Jedi weren't trying to harm him or his son and to sign a peace treaty. Zero was in on Jabba's son's kidnapping and captured her with the IG-88s before Fox and the other guards rescued her.
He does have a white antenna in some scenes. At the end of hostage crisis in season 1 it is white, so you'll be happy to know that it is accurate.

i think the phase 1 helmet is supposed to be larger than the phase 2, when cosplayers build phase one you can see they make it way bigger than the phasee 2 and it looks larger when looking at episode 2

@@JustinsCollectionactually i would say it is supposd to be taller, not really larger, some cosplayers make them same size, some make the phase 2 larger, they all make it how they feel it should be and also to their head size too, i guess the only way to know for sure would be to have official canon mesurements of the two helmets, but since the clone troopers were cgi you would have to dig into movie vfx files at the end of the day, only the studio that worked on star wars 2 and 3 really know (if they bothered to actually care for that)
Phase one Fox did have a white aerial and that style of armour paint, his phase 2 helmet had the black aerial, but completely different armour markings.

Hi Justin! You're always right about the Hot Toys imperfections, of every Figures you reviewed in Past and Present. "Commmando Fox" considered a Masterpiece. The Paying Attention to Detailing and Designed, though not Accurately Perfect, made it interesting and almost Mind Blowing to the Eyes. That's the very reason why, you bought it. It's worth it my Friend. It definitely adds nicely, with the rest of Star Wars Collection. I'd enjoyed the Video. I'm also looking forward to watch more of your Future, Cool Videos. After Hearing the Negative Side, I'm sure Hot Toys will listen to their Customers someday and give it their all. Great Amazing Toy Reviewing as always. 🤩🤩🤩👍👍

@@JustinsCollection really wished it came in phase one style helmet as a deluxe or in general. Wouldn't it make sense if Hot toys would sell accessories peaces for all their figures, including head sculpts. I know the can make tons of money on those that want extra sculpts, guns, etc. Sometimes accidents do happen? Or does this already exist on line?
Idk if I’m wrong I usually just watch these cuz I want them but can’t get them but I think the had the phase 2 because they don’t have phase 1 of that style of clone or didn’t want to leak one but idk maybe there is one

Again the ugly non-movie DC15. I don't get why they keep using it... I wished they made the decal on the chest follow the shape of the pecs more, it makes more sense even if the shaping is altered a bit.

Why does Hot Toys consistently leave the armor tally (the = symbol on the right breast plate) off of so many of their clone figures? It's a small detail, yes, but it just really takes away from the realistic design of these figures.

I just wish that Hot Toys didn’t give some animated clones a Temuera Morrison head-sculpt and others are just an empty helmet on a body. Just for consistency, if we haven’t seen a clone’s head before, whack a generic head on there and let us display our clones with their helmets off.

Since 2013, I've been a Star Wars Fan and I loved all 6 Star Wars Films ever since my Dad gave me the VHS of the Original Trilogy and the DVDs of the Prequel Trilogy. When I watched The Force Awakens for the first time, it was a hyped film I wanted to see since I wasn't that attuned with Star Wars and I did enjoy it at first and the sequels had potential to be a great Trilogy til Last Jedi on my cousin's birthday that's when the franchise went down. I didn't really hate Ep7 Ep8 or Ep9 cause they had potential to be a good films if written better and better directors and I would've gone full on with Colin's Ep9 Conecpt than J.J's.
Now about George Lucas selling Star Wars to Disney and everything went shit down and abandoned all old Star Wars and saying Disney ruined the franchise...ITS YOUR FAULT! Disney didn't destroy Star Wars and neither did Kathleen, it was you toxic Star Wars fans that brought George Lucas down. You really think that taking out KK will help make the franchise better, hell no cause she already did but she is not the problem at all, it's all of you cause first off you guys hated the prequel trilogy cause of Jar Jar and George Lucas's bland quotes and acting. I love the originals and prequels. I don't really hate the sequels at all just they had bad directing and constantly you guys on Twitter, UA-cam, Instagram have been bad mouthing Lucasfilm about their shit content for years when you need to open your eyes and see why George sold it in the first place. I love Disney Star Wars and I love George Lucas's Star Wars cause in reality George tried his best to make the films you guys wanted after the original Trilogy ended but instead the fans and the toxic fandom decided to attack him and actors that did the films with him.
Honestly guys, if you don't love Star Wars, KK, Dave Filoni, Or George Lucas at all, watch another franchise cause you all need to chill with your logic and toxic shit at these people cause they are doing this as a job and not bad mouthing the fans at all. Its like our regular jobs. It's ok to hate something you don't like but you don't have to be take it like it's the end of the world or something, just be glad you watched Ep1-Ep6 in your childhood. Im just glad to be alive to watch Star Wars content and even if some projects are a let down its still Star Wars after all. And if you don't like what I do, stop watching my channel and find other content.
Overall, I just hate how people say that Kathleen Kennedy destroyed Star Wars when it's all on you and your egotistical shit you did on George. Is this what George wanted to have a fanbase constantly arguing about shit that has been going on for years? Not really and no he is not returning and stop hoping for it either. Just be happy he did the Star Wars content for all Star Wars Fans in the world. Without him, Star Wars wouldn't exist. He is an amazing man but his time passed and now you guys are gonna have to deal with the new Star Wars whether you like it or not.
I'm just gratefully that George did Star Wars and new Star Wars content is honoring alot of old Star Wars.
