Amazing performance! It’s some kind of magic. These weird motions, face expressions and Oliver Cromwell’s look mesmerize me. I have no idea how this regular looking girl turn to pure beauty and become the part of her awesome songs on the stage
Thank you for posting this. She's just incredible and it was such an amazing gig. Her voice is magical. I was down at the front and it felt like when Aldous looks you in the eye she can see right into your soul but at the same time she's looking through you. It was quite a strange sensation which has never happened before or since.
Excellent. I can't get enough of Aldous. Thanks for sharing this performance of What if Birds Aren't Singing They're Screaming. She didn't do this one when I saw her a month ago.
You saw her? Lucky !! Dude.. I already loved the music... Then about two weeks ago I watched some of her music videos and I am now obsessed. She has to be the most genuinely weird charismatic performer I've ever seen. It's a total vibe. Her music, her expression, the visuals, just EVERYTHING. Ugh
This brings so many memories. I was at her gig the day before in Vicar St., Dublin. It was such an impromptu decision to go but Aldous is a very special artist so I am forever grateful that I got to see her live. Funnily enough, during the gig, I acquainted myself with this fella and we got on very well but then I ran off after the gig and I didn't get to exchange phone numbers with him. It's always been a big regret of mine that I didn't talk to him for longer that night. Dublin is pretty small, but when you want to find someone... well, I never saw him again. That is life, I guess. I can't wait for live music to make its return, I really miss gigs.
The music and performance are undeniable. Is she surrendering herself to the point of self-annihilation? I watched a friend diminish herself, in an act of self destruction, by starvation. I am only an observer.
This is a remarkable performance. I think it may have something to do with the fact she's got a bass player here that can find the pocket. Her usual bass player always sounded like he was still learning the instrument. This clip is the best this year IMO.
It may be an interesting invention on how to present her art in an unusual way, in fact it is part and parcel of the complete performance. Mesmerising and a touch scary.
Listen to her in an interview and you’ll find that she is not an average person. Her way of thinking is complex and unique and I think her personality reflects that
Simply wonderful.

I was scared when she gave me the stink eye 👁️
@@simondilley9596 you made me smile😁 her character has really insane gaze but look at how her face changed in the end😃 Dr. Topp and Mr. Harding😁
This song gives me goosebumps every time. 😊

I felt the same, almost creepy, like an exotic creature from another planet
Thanks for posting. Can't get this performance out of my mind. You could hear a pin drop. She's extraordinary.
lucidjuicekid truely mesmerising
Was a really wonderful night, set was perfect, might had a wee bit of dust in my eye at one point too haha :D
Anyone know the name of the last tune, the new one? Has a real lovely Talking Heads vibe to it!
@@JigglerOnTheRoof old peel! Teddy boy (channel name) has good recording on youtube
No one in the audience dare speak, in case Aldous gives them the death glare.
She never lets us off the hook. An Angelic smile, then a woeful look. Take a breath, whilst you can.
Mesmerizing performance as always. And what a great group of musicians-- they groove with her perfectly. Thank you for sharing this video!

@@now_im_here3661 she's touring in 2022! Got my tickets for June already! I've never been more excited to see a musician, and I'm 50 lol!
@@Una... I'm very aware of her touring. Too bad the Vax pass Nazi BS is a real thing up here in Canada :(
@@now_im_here3698 well, of course you are.
Nazis suck.

Mags Fraczek glad it helped bring back at least part of the magic, stay safe🙏🏼
We are cosmically blessed - there is one and only 1 extraordinary Aldous Harding.
Such a special performer. She commands attention in an utterly unique manner 🙏🏼
God dammit she is so good. Aldous Harding is a definite vibe
she is one of perhaps 12 people presently alive
Thanks for that. I was ill on the day so couldn’t get to the gig. Gutted!
Tim Campbell a great shame. Glad I could go some way to filling the gap. It was outstanding
Essential but immense

"What will u do if the game keeps changing? Will u die on the vine, choosing it over?" At age 45, that hits a bit too close to home. ❤️
Bliss!
10:22 omg! 10:35 epic!
The reason we’re here
I definitely need to know the name of the last song...
Thanks for sharing this gem!
Sergio Paredes “Old Peel” A little Talking Heads influence.
@@carlh.h.2242 Thank you!
Your welcome 🙏🏻
Holy shit, those vibe 'yell' checks at the end. What is she doing to me
Remarkable. How did you get such good sound quality?
Carl H.H. I think it was down to a great mix, a respectful quiet audience and my iPhone XR...😂

Kama Tanha true praise indeed🤗
Kama Tanha I believe the bass player is her boyfriend, H. Hawkline.
mind listing all the songs played here? i haven't heard much of her music yet so i don't know many names but i like it
1. Treasure 2. What If Birds Aren't Singing They're Screaming 3. Blend 4. Old Peel.
No question her music is wonderful 🥰... but how much of her over the top kind of nature is just a show 🤷🏻♂️😉
It may be an interesting invention on how to present her art in an unusual way, in fact it is part and parcel of the complete performance. Mesmerising and a touch scary.
I think she is inhabiting the character in each song
