I didn’t use a battery machine to transfer the old black strip into the new one. The bottom half of my phone won’t work anymore like I can’t use the screen and touch apps only the top half works. Can you explain what I did wrong ?
old "black strip" carries all the battery data. (such as serial numbers/charge cycles, etc.) it should have no impact on the screen usage, you most likely damaged the digitizer on your screen trying to open the device.
