Awesome video man, I've been considering picking up an airbrush for a while now so I'm hoping to snag a black Friday deal next month. It was great to see you go through the basics and how you look after your kit, Crazy that the bargain brush has become your workhorse! All really useful info, cheers!
I use a iwata eclipse hp cs and I have a sil air 650 compressor! but I’ve had 2 strokes and 2 brain surgeries, I lost most of my fine motor control in both hands so it hurts sometimes to use a airbrush but I’m looking into an iwata trigger type! But I enjoy all of your videos!
Got the master airbrush and compressor combo kit and been practicing thinning paints. Also am doing the how to learn airbrush lol I just keep spraying the dang cat. Airbrush g22 model, compressor TC-326T.
this is a year late but if you haven't found them already, the master airbrush has replacement parts on their amazon store. This is the airbrush I use and absolutely love it
I like using a tank compressor personally with a water trap or filter. Tank compressors tend to get a lot of condensation. I have 2 currently. One is a Badger and the other a China knockoff...that works better than the Badger.
@@King5Arthur I actually use an automotive rattle can primer or I'll use some from Vallejo. I don't cut it down with anything but I just barely get the model covered. I don't like putting a lot on because I don't want to lose any details.
Higher end airbrushes go for over 300. 150 is on the cheaper end. But saying that I'm using a $60 Chinese knock off that came with its own mini compressor right now 😅
I was trying to go for a price range that people won't go into sticker shock over, but yeah, I've seen some for well over $400. And guess what...they aren't that great.
that model of airbrush here in Canada is $84 plus shipping, so i purchased a cheap iwata knock off called vapor for $60 cad

That's tough man and I've used a trigger style brush and they work pretty well. So that maybe something you can try to help out.
I have the master brush. When do you suggest using the .2 vs the .5mm nozzle?
I use the .5mm for things like primer or thicker mediums. I use the .2mm for really thin paint or heavy washes.

Awesome!! A review for that wolverine x force would be cool

Thanks. I just found out not too long ago that they have parts. lol
Interesting subject indeed
Great video. I brought me one 👍
Do you recommend a tank or tank less compressor and can you share which one you like to use? Great content as always!

You can buy replacents fon TCP global, I love mine.
Cool. Post a link if you can or let me know where you can get the parts. I love this brush.
what needle should i use 0.2mm/0.3mm/0.5mm ..
Standard is .3mm. Thats the one I use mostly. I use the .5mm in my pistol grip for primers and thicker paints,
@@TheCreativeCollector thank you
@@TheCreativeCollector Speaking of primer, what do you typically use for priming? And do you cut it with thinner as well?

@@TheCreativeCollector not saying they are. But yes prices can get insane. Also never trust badger.
