If an artist truly wants his work to shine. There should be no restrictions. Especially when a popular UA-camr wants to make a video on it and willing to pay for file.
Do you have any advice when it comes to using Chitubox. I have an issue with a 3d model the support keeps going through the model and doesn’t seem to be adding any infill structure.
On your subject of patreon and visibility. The thing that grinds my gears is certain Patreons who display blurred out images that are only visible if you join at a certain price point. What's the point of that? If I can't SEE the model, how am I to know what it's like? I'm not going to PAY on the off chance that when it's unlocked, I like what I see. Good chat Henry!
A lot of times that's because you're trying to give an exclusive to the current members as a perk. I get that. But when I do a full reveal I usually post it to everyone. Like you said, can't get new subs if they can't see anything.
@@TheCreativeCollector The one's I'm thinking of are Patreons where every item is blurred and so I can't see anything until I pay, say $10 a month! I'm not going to do that on the off chance.
To be competitive and due to piracy, I think artists should treat their Patreon like a service. Some artists have started giving painting lessons to make them stand out and retain members.
Hi Henry, don't worry about the haters, keep up the good work with Enzo and Victor who are doing a crazy job, honestly for the price it's hard to find better given the quality offered, in short, move on and for the haters, let them go to hell ;)
I’m not too sure what your patreon consists of, but I know I’d love to see some wrestling statues or something of that sort. I’m working on 2 different models of the fiend bray Wyatt, one being in the corner of the ring holding the ropes before he does his spider crawl. The other is him doing the mandible claw to someone. I seen where vsstudio has a fiend model that’s just super badass! Has his lantern his Wyatt family rocking chair, etc etc. that sold me on their patreon among other models. While I do like comic characters it’s just not what sells me and that’s ok, your models you’ve shown on here is sick! Love the punishers you’ve done here. That definitely wasn’t cool with the dude doing that to you though, yeah he can restrict his stuff all he wants but going behind your back was the disrespect that he said you showed him. That’s just a sour taste.
@@TheCreativeCollector i was saying me , if you asked to purchase it and paint it on your channel , i would have given the file , to get my art out there to more people
I would have joined, got the model and then deleted the server haha. Some people are odd for sure, but we do live in very weird times. I wonder if Discord works like youtube with the subs, more members = more $ , no idea.
@TheCreativeCollector I saw his post in a closed group. At no point was your name mentioned. No one knew until this moment that it was you in the conversation.
Then explain why 3 people from that group showed me the conversation. And like I said, yes he had some of the name blurred out but you could still read the name.
I don't get the whole "exclusive membership" thing in the stl community. I also don't get the whole $60/file thing. If you want to make a bunch of money selling files, wouldn't you want lots of customers? It seems like Wicked3d has it figured out. Their files are amazing, inexpensive, and incredibly popular.
One of the best Patreon out there, totally worth it!
Welcome back, hope your vacation was great! Hope to catch you on your live streams!!

This happens if you're using the newest version. I still use 1.9.5
Joined your Patreon for the community, STLs are just a bonus.

Some artists are divas!
Henry's is my 3d guru 😅

i would of given you the files , to paint on your channel to get my skill out there
I would never ask an artist to do that. If they offer then yes but I was willing to pay for it.

I asked someone to do a piece to model it for me and they said it would be 1500 😂 simple base nothing fancy I was like nope
That's an average price but there are cheaper options
I had one artist tell me he would sell me an stl for 1100
If it was an original and no one else had it then that's around the average price
Sorry that happened man. I've been in a similar situation. Artists can be the best people, or the worst 😅

Not sure
Sometimes it genuinely feels like some artists hate money
Tbf, I hate money myself.
That will never change the fact that I need it, but I absolutely hate what it’s done to this world.

Something about this guy is so annoying but the work he produces is Cool. Idk Something like a little Diva LMFAO
You referring to the guy i mentioned?
