An advice to PRISM+....Please also add in DTS decoding. Half my movie collection no sound because it does not support DTS. Just for that I totally regretted buying
I went to Prism+ store in Pyramid mall KL last night to hear the symphony sound quality and its pretty good, although the dialogue is quite loud and clear which im not a big fan of. On the ports, i notice there is no output for coaxial, which i was hoping to set it up with an additional active subwoofer. Is there a way around it ?
Nice! And because I set up the Prism+ Symphony to replace an aging Bose TV speaker at my brother's house and he is totally blown away by the improvement!
Hi Peter, have you heard of the latest Vizio M series all in one 2.1channel model number M213ad-K8 2023 model. What do you think of this compared to prism+ 5.1
I am surprised there is no mention of the sound quality and dialogue clarity. Anyway I watched till the end. Is it purposely left out, out of goodwill ? 😂
Did you know that the Prism+ Symphony soundbar design is very similar with 2018 A&S Cinematic Bar with Dolby Atmos 800 design, the volume indicator and button? I have the A&S soundbar, which Netflix can't give Dolby Atmos; only Prime Video and Apple TV+ can give Dolby Atmos with this unit. How about Prism+ Symphony model with Netflix Dolby Atmos? Can Netflix give ATMOS icon?
@@PeterPee hi peter i need one suggestion, I al planning to buy one sound bar with atmos As of now i am having jbl 5.1 surround sound bar Which one is better than tha 1. Sonos arc + sub 2. Bose 900 + sub 700 I am expecting more louder sound to fill my bed room
@@babjikyBoth are capable soundbars. If you prefer really strong movie effects bass, the ported design of the Arc + Sub will sound better to you. If you prefer the more subtle type of bass for music, the Bose will work for you.
I'm big on movies and can happily suggest the sonos arc.... I went and saw Thor in an atmos enabled cinema yesterday and the sonos arc 5.1.2 combination really does do a great job and crisp clean sound stay are great fir movies.
@@PeterPee Uh-huh lol! Well, if Sonos knew what is good for everyone, or cared for what the fans want, then they should really be doing this...and still waiting for up-firing Ones! 😂
yo pete i think that video you did about "peter sells sonos" really hurt your viewership... cause you tried to send people to a non-official sonos retailer that's in asia... cause if you do a "store locator" and put singapore for location on the sonos official site you'll notice they're not listed there as an authorized dealer. Unless they are under a different name which would be even more sketchy... gotta protect your subs and not take any sponsors that come throwing money at you.
Hey there, thanks for the heads-up. Actually Tat Chuan Acoustics is the official Sonos Distributor in Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. In fact, all my connections and review units come from Sonos through Tat Chuan Acoustics. I really thank you for your heads-up. It's with viewers like you that I feel that there is really a community here and you are looking out for me. I love what I do here and would definitely want to protect my hard work!

699 very interesting
great and thorough review. loved it. thank you. This is on sale for A$599, S$540 in Australia; tempting.
Would this be a better value proposition vs a standalone Sonos Beam at similar pricing?
Nice explanation, just ordered this to replace Sony HT S350 for 55" Samsung TV.
Nothing much about the sound quality. This is a review about what exactly? The hardware only?
Positable to show the frequency respond of the sound bar. Best with compare to what we known best like beam gen 2, play bar or Arc.

Use Bluetooth.
I'm getting the Soundbar Symphony set today... woo-hoo...!

No rear speakers can be added?
No. It's not modular in that way.
Peter has three tv's....
To be fair, I use one as a monitor... so....
two?
Start....
@ 01:40 see what looks like SYMFONISK picture frames used as front speakers, hmm... might be that beta I've been hearing about 🤐
Haha... Unfortunately no... It's just... hanging there for this demo. :)

Do you find the bass at default 0 sounds very neutral compared to +5 ?? 😂
Yes for the prism symphony. You need a bit of kick from the bass settings.
HDMI 2.0? Hard pass for folks that own a 4k 120hz TVs.
Actually if you have a 120Hz TV, then you'd want a higher end soundbar. Most soundbars today won't have 2.1 passthrough anyway.
@@PeterPee I don’t understand, how does 120hz TV and the sound bar interact? Sorry I’m new to this😢
