@@robbyharrison101 near as I can tell, you're the only one that brought up the subject of Paulsen being religious, at all. The only thing that Phúc said was that he was an amazing voice actor and called him incredible. It had nothing to do with religion..
Hearing the original voices of the Justice League animated series almost brought me to tears. It was the beginning of my wanting to be a voice actor because I'm a sickle cell warrior (health disorder that limits my physical activities to a minimum). Thank you guys.
This honestly brings tears to my eyes. Not only was this entire video absolutely tremendous and having Rob Paulsen interact with the Justice League crew so satisfying, being able to hear the voices of these characters outside of the animated show was just beautiful. I didn't need any drawings or indications to know thee characters. I could even easily close my eyes and still identify through the voices who the actor and character was. The warmth and sincerity in Newbern's Superman, the earnestness, power and authority in Eisenberg's voice, THE iconic Batman voice emanating from Conroy, the ferocity and energy in Canals-Barrera's voice, the battle hardened, powerful edge to LaMarr's voice, the bluster and carelessness from Rosenbaum's delivery. It's all so perfect and it fits these characters so well that any random person who knew just a little about each character could instantly identify the character in just the voices. And to think that these actors can still hit these kinds of incredible levels in these performances over an entire decade after the show had ended. Just insane.
What an unexpected treat. The chemistry, sincerity, warmth, intelligence and charm on offer here far exceeded anything I anticipated. You don’t have to be a fan to appreciate these actors as real, hilarious, thoughtful people.
*KEVIN CONROY* is the one and only Batman TAS actor but I personally prefer *TIM DALY* as Superman. *ROB PAULSEN* is the one and only Yakko and Pinky. Hopefully Rob will voice them in the upcoming Animaniacs reboot.
King Vegeta Newbern’s great too but the reason I prefer Daly is because I feel his voice sounds more down to earth and more relaxed and his voice is much smoother when he plays as Clark compared to Newbern's more aggressive tone.
Kevin’s death still feels unreal! 😥 he was a beautiful human being with a heart of gold, he was very kind, caring, generous. He loved us as fans. Having met him, I can confirm that he was the nicest celebrity I’ve ever met. He thanks you for meeting him when you’re saying to him it’s a privilege. Rest in peace to an Icon! 😢
If we can’t make a proper DCAU Justice League reunification going, we have collectively failed as comic fans! Hell, 10 years ago it was LESS likely we would have 4 Avengers movies woven into about a dozen other lesser plots, across 20+ movies. A DCAU reunion should be a fucking layup. Let’s make this happen! The world NEEDS that Teen Titan/ Justice League crossover!
Damn straight, Rob. This the THE Justice League. Accept no imitations, substitutions, or recastings. At the same time, I have to question the intelligence of putting Lex Luthor and Sephiroth together in the same room.
Was awesome meeting Kevin Conroy aka Batman he is my Batman and was beyond excited when I met him. I met Rob Paulson last month and he and I talked and agreed that Kevin IS BATMAN. And we talked about this web series and thank him for animaniacs and many other great characters that made my childhood amazing.
Lucky enough to have met Rob, Kevin & Phil before and chat with them. Great people!! This was a fun treat to come across. I hope a reunion movie or project gets to happen with them all in it together again. 👍
I especially loved the Justice League Reunion panel back in NYCC 2015 when they did the table read for Little Miss Piggy and Starcrossed. It brought out the nostalgia and it felt like it wasn't animation it felt live action with them reciting those same dialogue. Kevin Conroy really paved the way for the DCAU. We wouldn't have Justice League and Justice League Unlimited had it not been for Batman: The Animated Series. That show really revolutionized animation and acting. The quality in storytelling is the most important thing and Bruce Timm who created this focused on that alot because he wanted to get it right. Also when it came to the cast Andrea Romano did an amazing job of casting actors to play some of the most iconic DC characters. Casting television and movie actors raised the bar in animation because they brought realism to the characters they portrayed. It's the dramatic acting that made it so much special.
I believe Phil started as Woody Daniels on Ruby-Spears' Mr. T(1983-86), before he became Hong Kong Phooey and Autobot Jazz, essentially succeeding Scatman Crothers!!!
BlythePennyBicycle21 oh I know. I am very familiar with Mr. Paulsen’s work. Hearing him cuss in Raph’s voice gives a new definition of “cool but rude” 😎 🍕 🐢
Thank you, truly from the bottom of my heart. Oh, these voice actors were my complete childhood and they were the reason why I never gave up and continued to believe in hope. I have so many positive and blessed memories from these incredible DC animated series (JLA the animated series, Batman the animated series, and Superman the animated series). Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are the two soul voices I recall while reading Batman's adventures to this day. You are all so remarkable and the banter/close connection you all possess is admirable. I have nothing but the deepest respect for these voice actors and would gladly welcome a re-boot JLA show (if every considered). Thank you for giving a young girl with a physical disability- hope, joy, and strength during those weary days of youth, adolescence, and young adulthood. It is because of your strong voices that I was able to find my own. You handled very difficult subject matter and interpersonal relationships with ease. You conquered very sensitive/abstract topics including friendship, love, loss, and death with dignity. I was a major fan of the Justice League the Animated series and loved this show in its entity. At age 21, I can earnestly say that you will all remain as my heroes. Even if this comment is never read know you made a difference and shaped future generations.
That is the F**king Justice League 👌🏻❤️ That is DCs OG Justice League. Made my heart so happy to see this. Justice League was my childhood. So happy. ❤️😊
Rob "Yakko" Paulsen. Or should i say Donnie!!!!! (in my best Raphael voice) man what a great line up. These actors, these geniuses behind the mic are always amazing to listen to. I grew up through the 90's replicating the voices and just truly idolizing the roles you all got to portray. and for this i am grateful for have had the opportunity to grow up along with all of you as your careers began to grow further.
It may sound weird, but I'm glad you guys are alive in an age where you can know how much you're appreciated (I suppose the downside being you're also privy to trolls telling you you suck in real time) not just with social media but the cons, and to still be so open and available with the fans, even after seeing hundreds of them a day, shows us what kind of people you are and inspires me to be like that (I see thousands of kids a year because of my job, which is to make them happy). And it's not just kids that are now adults that grew up with you but college-aged dudes back in the day who are now in their 40s and beyond, like me, who have always been fascinated by voice workers, who get excited when there's a new Batman out, and "Holy shit, they got Kevin to do it!" or going to see, "Guardians of the Galaxy 2," and hearing Martinex speak a few lines and realizing it's Rosenbaum, or Maria's bit part in, "The Boondocks," as a TV anchor. And of course, seeing Rob and Maurice do a thing for an internet show where they take, "Pinky and the Brain," in a whole different direction than what they could on network TV. Thanks for the good times.
Same tought since 2008 cancer voice batman in the dark knight. probably the actors playing batman would hate to share the batman character with a superior voice especially kevin's all time great voice.
One of my favorite episodes in Justice League Unlimited was "Great Brain Robbery". That episode was special because of the switching of the bodies between Wally West and Lex Luthor. Seeing Rosenbaum and Brown switching places with one imitating the other was quite impressive. Both actors really did an amazing job of playing the other so well. The deep cut was with Rosenbaum as he imitated Clancy Brown's Lex Luthor because he was also portraying Lex Luthor in live action when he was shooting Smallville concurrently. The acting with Brown and Rosenbaum was just natural and they didn't even have to put that much effort.

If I could meet anyone ever it would be Maria. Her portrayal of Hawkgirl is something that I defined myself around and is the thing I always look back to when I think about who I am. She's brilliant and amazing and I hope that I can tell her that one day.
I didn’t know how much impact you guys had on me until I saw you all together and started having tears in my eyes. Why did DC not using the best team recently is beyond my understanding. I love you all and especially Susan!
39:01 That sweet little brush of the hand Susan does against Kevin's shoulder...I melted. The romance between Wonder Woman and Batman in Justice League is one of my favorites of all time, and seeing the actors being genuinely affectionate with each other is so wholesome.
Wait flash is lex luthor in smallvill hmm kinda funny when one of the ep in JLU flash and Lex Luthor swap body
Hence the IDK WHO THIS IS line from Lex when he unmasked him
You JUST NOW realized this a few days ago??
I guess better late, than never.
@@GRIMLOCK07 shut up i been trying to say this for a year when i first saw JLU
That's why they did the episode so they could get him to voice lex.
My mind is blown.
RIP Mr. Kevin Conroy
sending condolences to the bereaved family.
Legend joins heaven 😔
This is the Greatest Thing Ever! I fell in love with every Voice behind the JL 7 and couldn’t help but look into the people behind them, and of course you learn the name Andrea Romano all too quickly. We’ve all heard this and said it ourselves but their voices are the voices I try to hear in my head when I pick up a DC comic book!
Not only was Phil LaMarr Green Lantern, he was also my very first favorite super hero STATIC SHOCK!!!!!!!!!
Dylan Hawkins last name Hawkins are you related to static? Lol phil has done a lot of iconic voice acting over the years
@@djmaydraws3862 I know right!?!?!?! I remember when I re-watched it and heard Vergil Hawkins, I lost it I was like: "It's a sign, I'm the next Static!!!!! Time to go get shocked by electricity and sniff some experimental gas!!!!! XD
He voiced Aquaman in the Injustice games too.
And what I just remembered was one of his best voice acting moments he did for me personally was an episode of Static Shock, where he did 3 characters!!!!! Static Shock, Green Lantern, and Evil Green Lanter/Sinestro!!! The Final fight in that episode was him talking to himself with 3 different characters and 2 different voices!!!!!!
At least the awesome news is he will most likely voice him again for injustice 3 static is a must for the game or dlc.
Rob Paulsen is a great voice actor by himself, incredible!
so how do you know "rob paulsen" is more religious than "john elway" or "michael jordan"?
i voiced cici the cat on youtube and "red reverend" the fox on youtube and noone thinks im more "religious" than "rae carruth" is huh?
@@robbyharrison101 what are you even talking about? What does religion have to do with Phúc's comment?
@@Mawkitch87 did Rob paulsen himself say he was religious?
@@robbyharrison101 near as I can tell, you're the only one that brought up the subject of Paulsen being religious, at all. The only thing that Phúc said was that he was an amazing voice actor and called him incredible. It had nothing to do with religion..
Hearing the original voices of the Justice League animated series almost brought me to tears. It was the beginning of my wanting to be a voice actor because I'm a sickle cell warrior (health disorder that limits my physical activities to a minimum). Thank you guys.
Maria's voice is so cool. It has character all on its own.
MARKY MARC he’s been added to the cast as Yakko and Pinky
drirock_ 55 thank god! It just disturbs me when they make cartoon characters sound totally different from the last.
Holy shit..... I literally just wrote the same thing, word for word. I'm bugging out right now. Lol that is crazy.
MARKY MARC Tim Daly and George newborn are basically identical.
I wonder if Tim Daly knows how important he was to Superman fans. George is the best, but Tim was the OG.
hell not a superman fan but that man made me really enjoy Superman . I wish he was in this :(
They have similar voices
George & Tim are underated asf.
Mighty Baloo nah george over tim any day
I love Tim, but George is my favorite. Probably because I watched Justice League before Superman: TAS
Kevin Conroy may not remember ever meeting me a couple of years ago, but I will always remember meeting my childhood hero

Phil also plays Static in Static Shock as Samurai Jack.
I believe Phil started as Woody Daniels on Ruby-Spears' Mr. T(1983-86), before he became Hong Kong Phooey and Autobot Jazz, essentially succeeding Scatman Crothers!!!
This is the only Justice League Nerdist content I care about.
sal
I lost it when Kevin (Batman) started singing after Rob handed out the LotR scripts for them to read. RIP Kevin you where the best Dark Knight ever!
When you hear Donatello drop an F-bomb.... 😵🤔🤣🤣🤣
Rob Paulsen also voiced Raphael in the original 1987 series.
BlythePennyBicycle21 oh I know. I am very familiar with Mr. Paulsen’s work. Hearing him cuss in Raph’s voice gives a new definition of “cool but rude” 😎 🍕 🐢

Hes still Raphael to me

Just hearing Kevin Conroy say "One does not simply walk in to Mordor" as Batman brought such nostalgia
Kevin Conroy simply has the most legendary voice ever.
Thank all of you for this. I really needed it, and I know there are a lot more people that feel the same way.
Thank you.
Holy fuck, I was watching this when I got the news. Rest in Peace, Kevin Conroy.
George Newbern has the best Superman voice, but Tim Daly had a fantastic Clark Kent.
Chimera1591
Well...there was virtually no CK in JL.

WHY ON EARTH,kevin conroy can’t be the voice modulator in batman’s suit in the live action movies?WHYYYY
If we got a Batman beyond movie he be the perfect for old man Bruce
The Dark Knight Returns.
Same tought since 2008 cancer voice batman in the dark knight. probably the actors playing batman would hate to share the batman character with a superior voice especially kevin's all time great voice.
Ronan THE SUPER GINGER No we need Michael Keaton to play the live action old Bruce Wayne

Holding back tears during this interview. My heroes.
Thank you Rob for talking about autism. My son has it and a lot of people still don't understand how delicate they are. Thank you for this.
George Newbern is such a good Superman Voice
I always love it when you get a character swap episode like this.
Grodd:"You aren't going to wash your hands?"
Wally in Lex's body: "No...because I'm Evil!" 🤣🤣🤣

This is the closest to an Animaniacs/Justice League crossover.
