Hey Everybody! Here’s an update to the Performance Track. I decided to change out the Auto-reversing loop modules, added a little cosmetic piece and I’m running 3 trains to show it off. Come check it out!

Hey Lami, thanks for your feedback! I think I’ve done a pretty good job of documenting how I’ve been making the layout so hopefully you’ll agree. It’s been a lot of fun to create a d a lot of fun to play with, too!!

Hey James, looking GREAT. Back 6 years ago I did review of AutoReversing units available at the time (ua-cam.com/video/Dhw-FwklmIw/v-deo.html) and came to pretty much the same conclusion you have. The PSX-AR worked flawlessly as did the Dual Frog Juicer. The Digitrax PM42 and AR1 just didn't perform.
I have what I call my "test layout" (because I test all sorts of stuff on it and with it). Unsceniced like your Performance Track. My layout uses different track codes, different manufacturers, different roadbed, different elevations, different curve radii and includes home build turnouts (and a home built double crossover) with all turnouts DCC (or manual switch). Anyway, it has 3 autoreverse sections on it, one is powered by a Dual Frog Juicer, the second by a PSX-AR and I'd have to check on the 3rd one - zero problems with the AR units though.
Anyway, keep the videos coming, I'm liking how you are progressing. Makes me think I should add some lighting! :)
