Siinä oli niukilla, ettei tullu murhenäytelmää tosta hommasta.

Never understand why people would stand on the outside of a corner. Especially during amateur rally and not a WRC level race.

+Hez I like to think that even if they steer the other way the snow would keep them sliding to the other side, but I've never done anything like that so I'm not sure how the physics would work out

+chevanl They are standing behind trees, or so close that they can take one or two steps to the side and be safe behind trees. I am sure it's soon going to be banned, taking freedom in return for safety, even you would be tired of the search before you find a dead spectator in a Finnish rally.

+KracknCorn They do so to be able to help out if anything goes wrong.. Right? Obviously standing behind the tree line so would not be that hard to dodge the cars/block them with a tree.
+Magnusday Yeah, because running for 10 seconds longer would make a lot of a difference for the passangers of the crashed car. It is not just about getting directly hit, especially if the car strucks a tree there will be parts flying all over the place. Image being hit by a wheel which comes of - good luck helping others after that. One of the first and most important lessons anyone learns as a firefighter is self protection. You can't help anyone if you also need help.

Alkuun eka kanssa ihmettelin tuota väkimäärää ulkokurvin puolella, mutta sitten pistin merkille kuinka moni oli hakenut oman "suojapaikkansa" puun takaa, eli selvästi laskettu, että X paksuinen puu on eräänlainen suojus. Tommosessa hangessa on vaan veemäinen heittäytyä alta pois ku risukkoo ja ties mitä sekä auton pomppimista hankala arvioida. Video oli toki viihdyttävä, mutta olihan tuos ainakin pisimmälle mennees ulosajos jo aika lähellä tulla rumaa jälkeä.
ja lentäviä irto-osia tulee kiire väistää ... , luulin että suomessa jo osattas tuo paikkojen valinta

why did this happen? what could go wrong for all of these crews? They all had spikes...
Huvittavaa seurata kun katsojat ihan tatti tanassa katsoo kuka pääsee ensimmäisenä ulosajetun auton viereen.
Tätä juntteuden määrää on vaikea ymmärtää... Isot miehet pyörii ku kärpäset paskan ympärillä kun joku ajaa ulos. Muistuttaa myös hieman somalilaumaa elokuvasta isku mogadishuun.
Minkä takia noi ihmiset on tuolla minne autot tulee?

my opinion:, the corner has a visual "straight line" with no trees, and the driver thinks the road goes straight thru, but alas no.
Ollaan aika monta kertaa juteltu vanhojen ralli katsojien kanssa tästä ulkumutkan turisteista, joilla ei ole aikasempaa ralli katsojan kokemusta. Tullaan kerran pari vuodessa katsoon rallia ja soitetaan kokeneille katsojille että missä on kisan paikka ja sit mennään väärään paikkaan katsomaan. Kuinka monta kertaa tälläkin videolla kuuluu kaadon jälkeen et tulkaa nyt v#$$uun sieltä... nyt kävi sellainen tuuri, ettei toi Astra lentänyt tonne ihmisten sekaan. Uskon vaan et tästäkään ei mitään opita ja lähti tulevaisuudessa oikeesti sattuu todella iso tapaturma.
eihän tossa tarvii olla ku tyhmä ku tonne ulkokurviin menee. Vähän ajattelee ensin nii selviää aika nopeasti missä kannattaa seistä :D

+Cane Sugar It's snow/ice. In some situations you might be going 10 mph, and still lose traction. If you're going too fast you can't break, or turn. You might clip a dry spot, and jerk to the side. Considering the snow there's probably a couple reasons that corner got the guys it did.
+Cane Sugar No it wasn´t. In this rally was forbidden to train on this course (not even slowly), so many competitors drove first time this road. This was a little bit tricky place, because just before the bend there is a small hill where you can see a gap within trees right ahead. So it seems that road continues straight, but after the hill comes this bend.

itseltä kyllä loppuu ymmärry siinä kohtaa kun lapsella on lähemmäs kolmevuotta ajokorttiin, mutta on silti täysin kykenevä ajamaan rallia. ei meitä turhaan haukuta hulluiksi.

Niin, siellä on katsojia paikassa, johon on jo kisan aikana sinkoutunut useampi auto. Toinenkin asia pistää silmään: kun auto menee ojaan, toisella puolella oleva porukka säntää salamana ylittämään tietä. Eivät varmasti ehtineet katsoa, oliko seuraavaa autoa tulossa. Ja tietä ei edes ylitetä suoraan, vaan hyvinkin vinosti. Välillä jopa kävellään tietä pitkin, eikä aina edes niin reunassa.

pätkällä vissii auto kerrallaan ajetaa tai sitte tosi isot aikaerot ku porukka lähes samantie muutamas kohtaa ryntää tie yli, muutenha tuos tulisi autoa vielä pienemmällä aikavälillä ja suurempi riski jäädä alle, koska tuski tota pätkää ny joka ulos-ajo jälkee o keskeytettykää..

Mikä ihmeen pakkomielle noilla ralli faneilla on aina juosta tonne kun joku ajaa ojaan. Yks jannu hyppäs tielle monta kertaa tässäkin videossa ennekun auto oli edes ojassa. 20 jannua juoksee tatti tanassa pällisteleen siihen auton viereen saman tien.
Ja myös toi että jengi seisoo ulkokurvissa vaikka selkeesti vaarallinen paikka.
