Watched this with my whole family at the local theater. A very memorable experience indeed. All everyone could talk about at school the next day was this movie. Especially Bam’s “prescription” 😂👌🏽

Family That Preys is damn good, especially for one scene in particular when a certain character gets their comeuppance big time. It was wrong on some levels but they deserved it.

Aunt Bam is the best! I love these movies so much. Also the “lessons” are even stronger in the plays. I would highly recommend y’all watch them.
The real comedy is in the old plays that these movies are based on... Also being black helps. I understand every word Hattie says 😂😂
The plays are outstanding and in many ways much better than the movie adaptations.
There is a BOO part 2 which is fun too. It's a new genre for Tyler perry . He was trying to get his footing . Next movie fills more horror.

I really hope we keep this group moving forward. Funny enough the last movie had no Madea and this one was a 100% pivot. Which really goes to show how the two extremes truly complement each other in the best of the movies.

50:14 - it’s so concerning seeing them nodding along like it’s good parenting. Just tragic examples of how when your parents are worse you think certain behaviors are acceptable. Her dad never once had a solid anything before. You can absolutely set boundaries without doing whatever that was. Hating the daughter when she never had that parenting structure before is wild.
Her attitude helped them figure it out. Her attitude was a direct result of the lack of what she was getting. Her dad needed to say all of that wayyy before. Her dads speech and Medea’s was the only healthy thing in that scene

One of the many things I love about made a films is underneath all of the chaos there’s always a meaningful message
Mideas Witness Protection was my favorite because it was sort of an in between era for the filmw where it was a fun balance of comedy and plot, instead of a lot of serious or overwhelming jokes. Not that the later movies arent fun, but i feel like witness protection is just that sweet spot for me personally as a movie to cheer myself up on a hard day without overloading the senses.
What I’ve always admired about Tyler Perry’s movies is the powerful messages he conveys. While I can understand that some of his recent films might feel a bit overwhelming, he has a unique talent for connecting with his audience. Whether through humor or heartfelt struggles, there’s always a relatable element that resonates.
I’m enjoying yall watching this! honestly I still think Madea is so funny and I have literally been watching since his plays was on bootleg 😂

I love Madea!! You should as well check out, Madea Christmas, Madea Homecoming, the ending of that one is super funny. Made is a big fan if Beyonce so he reenacts as Beyonce at Coachella. As well as Death at a Family Funeral.

I agree with you all on the short one that made him break a lot. For me, I had a hard time understanding what she was saying so when she would tell a joke a lot of the time I didn't even hear what she said. Her voice reminded me of the character from The Waterboy who mumbled except I could understand every couple of words when she spoke.

If you took my advise on this one here Believe me Don't ever watch Precious, Acrimony, and or Temptation 😂😂😂. They are all 3 real Debbie downers. There is nothing Funny or partly funny in any of them. Except Precious. and that one the humor is subjective . P.s. Boo is my favorite Tyler Perry Movie. I was the loudest one in the theater. its hilarious 😂😂😂 Also none if these movies are connected. He recycles himself, medea, and uncle joe. but noneof the stories are related. He kinda uses different variations of Tiffiany, at different ages, The brother also. The character Bam and the other old lady are usually only in the Funny movies and plays. Tyler works with the SAME PEOPLE OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
I don't know why folks want reactors to watch 'Precious'. I would rather see Gabourey Sidibe in TV's 'Empire' TV series MUUUCH more than that flick again.
