Can you make a video on tracking lifts ? What you find is the best way to do so and some tips for those getting into tracking their lifts. Like if that’s something you want to see to encourage Joe to make the video😄
Craig Roch if you think you can increase your lifts by 5-10% every week you are either delusional or supplementing but most definitely delusional .... I didn’t need you to answer that and I didn’t want you to.... You really think the type of information you would get from Joe would be “ get a notebook, write down, the end “ .... we can learn so much more from Joe so maybe just shut up if you don’t have anything good to say....
Craig Roch why did you delete your previous comment? Did you realise something? Like you said if you can’t increase lifts by 5% every week there’s something wrong with that person and let’s take that 250lb squat for an example since you are normal, there are 52 weeks in a year if you increase 250lbs lift by 5% every week 262lbs>275lbs>288lbs>302lbs>317lbs so after only 27 weeks you are squatting 913lbs..... you must be some alpha male specimen mate
Craig Roch I’m not saying you are wrong about changing up your workout routine every month or few, I was specifically talking about your 5-10% increase claim every week, so if you don’t add those 5% to the weight how do you? So you increase your rep by 5%😆?

I hit my 6 month mark yesterday, and I've realized this is a long process. I thought I'd be shredded in 6 months but lol I was wrong. I do hope when I get to a year I will look much more developed but who knows, just gotta keep going, it's a lifestyle, train everyday forever.
Are you eating enough protein and taking creatine along with getting a good nights sleep? Also how many reps and sets are you doing and how many days a week are you working out. After 6 months as a newbie you should be seeing a pretty big difference unless your doing something wrong
@@freshdose1 Now it's been 8 months, I workout 7 days a week, I take Quest protein powder, cellucor creatine, I don't sleep enough around 5 hours a night. I always do 4 sets of 12-15 reps of every workout. I've been switching it up lately where I've been doing supersets like 20lbs dumbbells and do 100 reps each arm than 3 SETS of 35-40lbs 12-15 reps. I have results, but I imagined much better results at this point but I'm definitely a hard gainer but I refuse to stop or take a day off.
@@ChristoMac Ok. Im going to assume your goal is to build muscle/gain weight from muscle. 1. MOST IMPORTANT!!!!!Stop training 7 days a week. Your muscles need time to grow and they do the most growing when your sleeping and resting them. Train at MOST 5 days a week. 2. Lower your rep range from 12-15 to 8-12 and increase the weight. If your hitting 12-15 your weight is to light so decrease the reps and increase the weight keep your sets 3-4. Also if the weight starts feeling light then increase the weight as you get stronger. Also stop doing that 100 rep BS you dont need to do that its a waste of time if your trying to build muscle 3. Again your muscles grow the most during sleep and rest so get more sleep 7-8 is good if you can. 4. Your never told me how much protein you take in a day so im just going to assume you dont get enough protein. You should be taking around 1.2g of protein per pound. Also make sure you are actually eating enough. Use this calculator to see about how many calories you need to be eating a day to gain or maintain weight tdeecalculator.net/ You will see fast progress if you just do these things guaranteed. @@freshdose1 I definitely don't get enough protein for sure, when I started I weighed 173lbs and I now weigh 183lbs but I'm sure it's not all muscle weight gain. @@ChristoMac Yea over training can actually cause your muscles to lose size if done long enough and that is probably your biggest problem right now, you are literally working against yourself and your body. Also increase your protein.
I think noting is the best tip. If I see what I did last time, I definitely want to do one rep more or go for a heavier weight. In that way I always make progress somewhere which is very motivating!
