- Israeli far-right extremists, many of them settlers residing in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, have been attacking aid convoys bound for the Gaza Strip. But they are met with opposition from Israeli and Palestinian peace activists - members of a group called "Standing Together," which calls for a cease-fire as well as increased humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. These activists are trying to salvage what they can after aid trucks were attacked and their shipment of food and supplies looted and vandalized. In other cases, group members have accompanied aid convoys to crossings into Gaza.
Israeli security forces have faced allegations of not stopping or even aiding the attacks. Earlier this week, the British Guardian newspaper reported on incidents in which Israeli police and soldiers had allegedly tipped off the location of aid convoys to Israeli settlers. The UN has warned that the situation in northern Gaza amounts to full-blown famine, while the International Rescue Committee (IRC) says that 100% of Gazans are facing crisis levels of food insecurity. The UN has reported that 5,600 aid trucks have entered Gaza in April via the Kerem Shalom and Rafah Crossings, but only 1,400 trucks have entered so far in May, partly due to an increase in fighting in Rafah as the Israeli military seeks to eliminate Hamas battalions in the area. UN aid agencies working in Gaza just recently said that their warehouses in Rafah are inaccessible and that they have suspended humanitarian aid distribution due to concerns over the safety of their staff and lack of supplies.

Stand up for yourself and your people yes, but if you don't want to resemble the terrorists stranger, try to be humble and not hate others however different they are to you, humility is a crucial thing especially for the educated.

@@lonewulfmo9128 We are the product of an evolution that doesn't know good or evil, right or wrong, and doesn't care whether we exist or perish. Evolution only distinguishes between successful and unsuccessful, in mysterious ways that overwhelm us with their complexity.
That means WE have to care about us, about humanity. WE have to define good and right in a way that is useful in keeping humanity alive.
And if we pursue the goal of keeping humanity alive with enthusiasm and joy, we need no other higher purpose or authority.
We've developed to possess empathy and love - so let's use our brains to make the best of these "gifts".

Drivers are usually not permitted to carry arms. Settlers, in the other hand, can be armed. Several hundred Palestinians were murdered by settlers in the West Bank since October 7th

By God's grace, I was deconverted from Zionism while on a layover in Frankfurt airport during the summer of 2014. A rabbi who worked with the group - Rabbis for Human Rights - spoke with me for nearly 4 hours in the airport about the criminal behavior of the settlers in the West Bank, especially during the olive harvest. He was traveling back to Israel to try and help Palestinian farmers protect their crops from these settler extremists.

This is further proof the political leaders of Israel needs to be charged by the ICC and held accountable. Military leaders also as the military could prevent this. If they don't want to do it, then the UN needs to come up with a solution and bring in UN Peace keepers for the aid. This means if anyone attacks the aid, they can protect it.

The abuse of a feeling of injustice is at the heart of this conflict, costing lives.
Humanity has lost its essence, most of society has lost its compass and our extinction is inevitable due to individualism and lack of empathy.

I'm not sure why you're referring to the people blocking the convoys as 'extremists'. Most Israelis support what they are doing. The brave people trying to help the aid trucks to get through are the 'extremists' in Israeli society.
