❤ Tim, I have learned they make something like a cookie tin lid made of steel that activates the burner for non-steel pans. Hope this helps. If you try a cookie tin lid, the paint may put off bad fumes. Sand it really good.
Hello again Tim and Melanie Congratulations. I wish you the best of luck, settling in your new condo! Good arraignment for a cozy place. Two friendly suggestion (Take it or leave it); You may remove the legs from your new kitchen cabinet, so it will be almost level with the rest of the counter top. The second thing is to let the elephant trunk facing outwards from the front door to attract fortune and good luck... Thanks for sharing, and best regards/Ned 🌷🙌🌷
The size of the apartment is fine. It's the ungodly amount of clutter that makes the place look cramped. With 3 shoe racks, I was expecting to see Imelda Marcos.
Condo looks great. Love the Pluto by the way. I also have a stuff toy monkey my wife and kids gave me when I was in the Navy. He went on many deployments with me. When I retired from the Navy I became an over the road truck driver and that monkey was with me as well and now he is here in the Philippines, so I completely understand. Very cool.
A bunch of us had odd things from home on the ship. I still miss my Ninja Turtle beach towel I used for showers. It looked good hanging in my rack for inspections. 😎
Yes Furst Again...!! The "Designer" probably thought placing the sink there looked like a good use of space , but in reality, it Sucks.. Maybe if you wrapped some cardboard with aluminum foil, placed it under the drain pan and direct the water in to the sink it would help. @ 7:55 It means your family.. I'm going to pass on the ant biting your junk.. Allow me to share a Slow but proven remedy for ants, mix vinegar in water, and spray the ants. The vinegar disrupts there pheromone transmission (when they rub their antennas together), which prevents them from communicating; thus eventually they get confused, give-up and move on. I prefer the faster method, FIRE...!!! I Love Fire..! It Excites Me !!! Give me a flame and I am content... I would share stories about me and fire, but I'm not going to admit to anything....
Tim, I saw your ant problem and that alarmed me. So I contacted my wife and asked her if she saw any in our unit. She has not. Is that a common thing at those Condos?
Tim, Looks like your Condo is coming along fine. My wife and I rented and moved into ours at the beginning of April. April 5 to be exact. I'm on my way to iloilo. I'll message you and hopefully, we can meet at the Club House. So you can add another American to the list in iloilo.
@@TitoTimTravels I liked the provincial atmosphere of Miagao. My uncles place is across from ISAT College and walking distance to the church and market
Not bad at all Tim.! I like it.! Enjoy life as much as you can.
We are having a ball so far. Life is good 😎
Have a awesome day
Thanks, you too! It has been pretty good 😎
Looks good Tim. The only problem it seems is the sink. As long you can live with that it's pretty good.
It is a very weird sink. But only a rental, so no worries ha ha 😎
Glad you guys are enjoying condo life. Isn't for everyone.
I am really digging it (she seems to be as well). 😎

They sell steel plates to put on the induction cooker, but we also have the infrared cooker, it works with any pan. 😎

I was looking at maybe removing the legs. It would lower a bit, and might keep it from sagging later. 😎
@@TitoTimTravels Good luck/Ned

Have you both looked at the Ikea site? Ikea is the crown jewel of filling small spaces. The longer you live there the more it will come together.
Never been to an Ikea. I bet shipping to here would be cost prohibitive 😎

It really is a very odd placement for the sink. Maybe it looked good on paper... 😎
They thought it was creative and unique.

Not sure if it is common, but we had them bad ha ha (seem to be mostly gone now) 😎

Welcome neighbor. Let me know when you get here 😎
How much is it to rent?
p14.5k a month. We could get an apartment, or house, for under 10k a month, but wanted to try a condo 😎
