This is an LG g3 phone running android 7.1 put in volvo s40 II original plastic frame. Just cut the middle section and find a way to hold the phone from the other side there is no toutorial since it was trial and error method, and cool weekend project. for now OEM display is sitting behind the phone, there is space for it, and the climate is automatic so I don't really need to see it all the time. Don't have aux in my car so music is steraming by roidmi 2, and for me sound quality is acceptable.
Recently installed 990A in 210 S40 SE as at start of the video AUX Audio input perminently displayed obsuring everything else. Bluepower supplied update late March 2021 but issue NOT resolved. I would not recommend this unit until issue resolved.

i looked at roidmi 3s but cant find out how you are showing the car speedometer and tachometer other car data ? i bought a c30 so unsure what i need fitted to transmit this info and also what app you are using if its not part of roidmi 3s or ... how can you help thanks
It's very simple no need for tutorial, all you need is some phone and litle manual work with plastic frame. I used LG g3 because screen fits perfect into original radio frame, but i'm sure there are some other phones that would be also fine

Volume is working because od Roidmi transmitter, and speedometer is working with OBD2 and app Torque it is pretty simple if you think about it.
