No you won't find a statue of king william in the republic,but you won't find one of james either because he ran away after the battle of the boyne and because the irish cause had moved past having a catholic british king to wanting an independent republic Ulster province actually comprises 9 traditional counties ,3 of which are in the republic while NI itself contains 6 only so NI and ulster are not the same,but they are often used synomously nevertheless.
Yeah you're right it's only 6 of the 9 counties, but we are part of the province of Ulster. Don't be confusing just so you can be sectarian and boring.
