Did this dude just say no one liked the underground in Tears of the Kingdom?? That made the game for me. I obsessively explored so much of that map and got the dumb little prize for lighting all the little tree things.

I play mostly on PS5 but I’m happy that switch owners get a taste of horizon. Those games are fun as hell and it’s dope that more people get to play 👍🏼
I played earthbound & mother 3 as an adult, and I loved both of them!

I'm not an Earthbound fan but even I am offended by RGT's opinion. What do you mean they wouldn't show up? Any time they make merch that is Japan exclusive, they eat it up.
Also, I agree with Josie's Metroid opinions. I got lost in Super Metroid and gave up, but I loved Fusion because it is linear lol. Dread is also great and is better than Fusion.

Your opinion is finediddlyine, but I believe Earthbound is very special. I felt it's magic playing it for the first time as an adult, with my 2 children sleeping soundly in their rooms, windows open, hot summer nights, crickets vilolining outside, it took me back to being a child, alone-ish with my thoughts, adventuring, parents not exactly sure where I was kind of times. Goonies-ish. I think it's got a vibe that if it hits with you, it's gonna hit hard. I found the fact, that is was a video game, had very little to do with my enjoyment, it just ended up being the medium for it's experience it wanted to show at that time. It's subtly beautiful, and might bring a tear. RGT, I hate people explaining stuff like this too. Sorry lol😂
I think a lot of live audiences like to cheer out of sheer politeness. Especially the more diverse and mainstream said audience is. Exceptions would be events like that recent ubisoft rainbow six event where they got booed when making an unpopular announcement to a very specific kind of audience.

I'm curious as to what Sony thinks about its old platformer franchises like Jak, Sly, maybe even Rachet ? Are they considered tent pole system sellers anymore? Would they be potentially up for going multi-plat?
I do feel like people get way too excited over these events to the point where it seems fake. I've seen some reaction channels that seem so fake. A real reaction would be more muted I'd say...

On Switch Nintendo's top selling franchise is Mario by far. Once you add Mario Kart alone that game out sold both Breath of The Wild and Tears of The Kingdom together. Then if you add Odyssey, Wonder plus all the other Mario releases it is very clear that Mario is the top selling franchise on Switch.
I was in osaka in the Nintendo store and bought a little yellow Pikmin since it's my gf and mine favorite 😄 but we are kinda disappointed that you can't play Pikmin 4 together like 3. We are waiting for an update, but i think it won't come. But still waiting for at least the switch 2. Maybe it will get a couch coop update there..

My kids love the Lego games and I will seriously consider buying it for them when it comes out. In no universe will I buy a PS5 anytime soon. If Horizon comes to Switch I'll probably play it, but I'm not buying a new console to play that game.

A Sony first party studio putting a Lego game on switch is not the same thing that Phil Spencer and Xbox is doing. I hope I misunderstood and that wasn’t what Rgt was implying. Xbox is straight up porting first party games to “ rival “ platforms It’s not a knock off parody version of the game. And the Fortnite stuff is just about more advertisement to me (same with Lego) perhaps you think this is bigger than what it is because you are so use to the way Nintendo treats their IP. A little bit of fake outrage for views and discussion sake going on here (which is fine it’s a entertainment business I get it) Sure, we don’t know where the industry will be in 15 years but come on now

The switch version will outsell the ps5 and Sony will eventually port games like Ratchet, Sackboy, Astrobot and Gravity Rush to Nintendo.
Sony is starting off easy with Horizon saying "its a good fit" to stop the fanboys from freaking out. They did the same thing with Zero Dawn PC and we see where that ended

@Aureo-nt1gy I wouldn't be cool with it. As an xbox 360 fanboy back in high school I'm not cool with xbox games on PC or other consoles. Software sells hardware & killer apps exist for a reason
@@cryptocsguy9282 same here although PC I don’t mind but what I hope is that each company eventually puts their own launcher on PC and then instead of consoles wars it’s more exclusive ecosystem wars if that makes sense. But yes exclusivity is good.

Breath of the Wild was okay. Same with Tears. I wanted to explore but honestly, exploring with little story isn't fun. I can't really praise either with such bad stories.

Sunshine has a bad camera? Did I miss something? I think for it's time it was way ahead. Replayed it in the 3d Allstars collection. Plays super smooth. WHEREAS... Mario 64 plays like dogshit. This is the most overrated game in the mario franchise. I have a feeling everyone overlook all the shit about this game because "its one the fiiiiirst 3D gaaaaame". It's camera? What is even that? The controls? Input delay of the hell. The level Design is thr only thing what I kinda like about it, but since it's unplayable back as a kid AND today for me, it's not good.
@nindieboy4194 the 💩 camera 📷 controls is one of the biggest criticisms about super mario 64 to be fair.

TOTK didn't have the wow of BOTW but it was better in every metric. You'll never play BOTW again.

TotK is the worst Zelda sequel. It was a disappointing game. I like it and enjoyed the game but I have no desire to 100% that game.
My Hot Take: I respect Super Mario Galaxy, but I can not get used to the controls, and it genuinely just feels too weird to control.
