Crime Syndicates maintain order within their own respective space. Rebels fear to go near those places because crime syndicates can target their loved ones if they are captured or injured/left behind in battle.
Just goes to show how very corrupt the empire really is, so corrupt that Officers the openly associate with crime bosses by going to their parties in uniform. It's a nice detail.
I would have understood if the Captain there was the Leader of the Recruitment Office and that he takes some cases, but an Admiral recruiting common folks is just ridicolous.
Imperial officers working with Crimson Don for a contract. That’s interesting. You could’ve used those officers at the beginning of the movie and made the movie about fighting off the imperial “training facility officers“ for the major plot point after solo got kicked out of the Navy. Don’t get me wrong. I enjoyed the movie. The beginning was good. I thought it could’ve been a Chase from the imperial cadet training facility on a starship after Solo, Chewbacca, Voss, & Beckett meet. Let it be the exact same story that we received but 15 minutes longer and Beckett doesn’t have a crew and you cut out the train scene. They don’t get their lives threatened by Dryden Voss. After they leave Voss’s, you could’ve had it that on their way to Kessel, they ran into an imperial training exercise with a star destroyer, and they get followed and attacked, and you could just further that story along until they met Lando and so on and so forth. They could’ve hinted around about Maul through the first three acts and have him appear at the final act. I’m sorry that I digress, but I do have strong feelings for the movie. I do appreciate you going through this movie again and making sense of all the imperial officers that we see. I watched a lot of Star Wars every day of the week but I haven’t watched the movie Solo in a while. After I post this comment, I’m gonna rewatch the movie along with the deleted things. Once again, thank you my friend. I appreciate the video. Long live the Empire Long live the Empire
They could have taken a Kelly's Heroes approach to storytelling, with Han being disaffected imperial soldier who was demoted for doing right thing, and was transferred to a demoralizing posting for his trouble were has to guard lute stolen by the empire, with Chewbacca being a slave he befriend. The heist resolves around Han and Chewie being the inside guys, beckett and crew being the ones conducting it, and Lando being the ringleader who funds and supplies whole thing and acts as Black market connection who will sells the good. Voss would be a crime lord who with connections to high ranking imperial officials who launders money from sold stolen lute on their behalf, and has been tasked by them to to get back their merchandise, and if he fails, he takes the fall. Think Guy Ritchie meets Kelly Heroes.
Can it be that that one officer on that party at the end of the video doesnt have riding boots and pants tucked in them but normal trousers like you you can also see in Episode 4 on the death star on some officers? Is there an explanation when they have uniforms like that?
Soldiers and officers just have different uniforms for different occasions and formalities, just like in the real world (some militaries to a more extreme degree, some others less).
I do have one question for you. I watched the deleted scene of Solo in the tribunal with the Commodore. At the 0.08 mark of that scene, what kind of imperial star destroyer was that? I’ve never seen that design before.
They were used to take care of raders and small insurance ships often paired with light cruisers often used against insurance where they heavy use hyperspace lanes until the interdictor as cantwell class cruisers had very few and very light weapons
Hello my friend I got another interesting question to ask you. I remember I ask you if Grand Admiral Thrawn would respect Pettit and you said yes, he would have mutual respect. I'll ask this question do you think Thrawn and Ozzel would respect each other if they worked work together? I'll give you my opinion not really because Ozel was an incompetent officer I'll say this I think Thrawn would respect Pettit and work well with him Ozel not really, I think Thrawn and Ozel would have disagreements and Ozel was incompetent and plus Vader didn't like Ozel how do you think Trawn would deal with him?
I agree with you, too. Ozzel was a pompous and incompetent officer who only rose to the rank of Admiral through his family connections. Thrawn would have thought Ozzel was a liability to him but would have specifically directed orders to him to make him perform exactly to his plan of action.
@@ImperialsExplained You I do have another question to ask you? What was Conan Antonio Motti officer rank is he higher rank than Thawn? I'll ask this do you think Mottie and Thawn would work well together? I'll say I think they would have agree to disagreements towards one another. I'll say this about Admerial Motti he was ruthless and wasn't incompetent.
@@user-td1me4tv3uSeveral media speak of Motti having the rank of admiral in ANH. So rankwise he would be lower than Thrawn but as commanders of a unit can not command lower ranks of units that are not part of their own or someone who has the authority over both specifically puts the other officer under the commander's command, Thrawn has no authority over Motti as Motti does not serve in the Seventh Fleet.
I didn't notice the imperial officer's in the crimson dawn party lol, that's insane

An Admiral and Captain would not be signing up raw recruits at a recruitment office on Corellia.
Those are their ranks shown according the facts
@@ImperialsExplained I understand. I'm coming from the perspective of a real life military.

What the devil? They did an easter egg for Tag & Bink?!

Long live the empire!
I thought the junior officer behind the Lieutenant was a 2nd Lieutenants.
Depends on what branch they belonged to prior to the Battle of Yavin
Actually the other recruitment officer is no admiral, he has a 1x5 plaque. Strange for sure as this does not fit into the Rogue One rank system.
I always search for this starfighter corps admirals and i finally found it !
Captain and admiral seems above thier pay grade to be in recruitment
