I remember watching MAD on Cartoon Network, and there was a spoof of this play called Smallville: Turn Off the Clark. And at the very end, it was revealed that Lex luthor disguised himself as Julie Taymor to purposefully ruin the show. And now knowing that Julie Taymor purposefully made decisions that deviated from actual Spider-Man stories makes that spoof make a lot more sense 😂
I'm usually not heated about adaptations changing things since I think it's okay for something as explored as spiderman to be changed in some way, but getting a director that has vocally said they don't care about it is wild to me lol.
How did the $1 mil web idea make it that far before they realized they couldn't get the webbing off the audience??? you think that would be an immediate follow up question lol
As a kid I saw this, yeah same thing Dad bought tickets. The play outside all of the acrobatics was mediocre. And I still don't understand the title till this day.
Okay hear me out, I really hope the actor is okay, but idea of a Spider-Man falling from a bridge trying to swing has to be funny, I mean think about it Spider-Man of all heroes, falling. I can’t be the only one who thinks it’s funny
Guys this broadway was a canon event
This was last decade’s Kraven The Hunter. A Spider-Man production that nobody asked for, that suffered delays and production issues for years
Would be insane if this Spider-Man showed up in Beyond the Spiderverse
His Canon event was his uncle falling 30 feet
he shows up in a stretcher lol @@PauTheDeo
And breaking multiple bones. @@PauTheDeo
