Hi im planing a long ride towards himalayas and im worried about off road performance on my interceptor 650. I just went through your channel but you haven't posted any ride review post installation. Can you please describe how the bike is performance post installation
@@rafirosekhanshah7499 Thanks for your feedback and reminding that I didn’t make that video after installing the fork extenders.
Let me create a video and for now i shall leave some nuggets of my experience post installation of the extenders for you here which you may find helpful:
a. Previously the stock setup of the fork felt too soft and lacked feedback, which now have been addressed, the stiffness is just to the degree of my liking without altering the fork oil levels, so also, the feedback is much more prompt now.
b. the bike surely feels and is taller than before, ground clearance thus has increased, and that helps the cause of off roading better than before, if you are riding without a pillion, that should mostly suffice.
3. I had the feeling that i was sitting more upright with the fork extenders on, im 5’9” (may be close to 5’ 10” with my riding boots), and i have no issues with the posture.
Overall, because of the enhanced feedback, i feel like pushing the bike more now while on off-roads, and so my recommendation would be go for it, i have ridden about 500km with the fork extenders, combining on roads and off roads, i feel good about this installation.
P.S.- I may like to upsize the rear tyre by one point in future just to ensure that the chassis is back again in its original angulation with respect to the ground, which obviously got slightly altered with the raised front due to the extenders.

With this one, the maximum you can extend is 5cm, or 2inch
