Really beautiful song. We can feel the "emotion" in your voice in the presentation of it... the dilemma between a father you must have liked a lot and all the problems he could also sadly make... You have succeeded to put all those ambivalent feelings in your song, in the tone of voice and lyrics. A song which comes from the guts, with melancholy, regrets but a touch of everlestating beauty. Because life is life. Sometimes you don't choose what you have to deal with. But once it's done, you can choose to make something of it, of your own. Or not, just letting go...
Really appreciate your music and what you do.

This song reminds Me of most of My 6 older Brothers Driving My Daddy around and I was just a Young girl back then ,but I still remember A lot !! Great song there Ryan ;)
I cracked up listening to this! My son spent every other weekend with his dad as a youngster. I found out years later that my son (at age 11) had been in the same situation. Thankfully they made it home each time.
