The rest of the band was on record stating that Cliff's death had profoundly changed them, and I don't think you'd see their anger come out the way it did in ...And Justice For All if he hadn't been killed.

One is one of the best modern songs. It's a masterpiece. Compare it to Mozart, etc. In a few hundred years it will be studied as classical music. I'm saying this, and I'm really not that much of a Metallica fan.

"Frayed..." is one of my favourite Metallica songs. The same with "Dyers Eve". Those tracks are underrated, because they don't play them live. "Frayed..." is too long for them I think and "Dyers Eve" is impossible to play for Lars.

AJFA is my favorite album. I don't understand the hate for it just because it's missing a little bass.
It isn't what it could have been. The bass is very important, especially in Metallica. Pre ajfa of course. It's a shame really.
Dude they totally removed jason from the mix just to fuck with him, making the album sound like it's always coming out some crappy laptop speakers - it's not just "missing a little bass".
