EASY FIX FOR LONG LIFE ACTION-CAM BATTERY (XCSOURCE 1100mAh)

One of the most common reviews you would read online about the XCSource battery 1100mAh long-life battery for the SJCAM is that they are FAKE or they are a GIMMICK. Simply put, they don't provide longer recording time as promised despite stating that their batteries hold extra capacity of 1100mAh versus original 900mAh. In my other video I demonstrated that the XCSource battery for the SJCam clone indeed records nearly 30 minutes longer than the original battery. However, that wasn't until I realized there was a major flaw in the kit. Please watch the video if you are having the same issues with your kit. Hope you enjoy and subscribe!
If you have a SJCAM 4000/5000 or a SJCAM Clone and you're looking for more battery life, I have the perfect recommendation for you. The original battery is 900mAh getting you around 1 hour 20 minutes of recording time at the highest setting 1080p 30fps. An aftermarket company called XCSource carries 1100mAh batteries that fits all SJCam and SJCam clones and promises to give you longer battery life. SJCam authorized dealers do not recommend getting these batteries and claimed they are fake gimmicks. This test, however, shows otherwise. I am able to get nearly 2 hours of recording time with the new batteries. The kit comes with a charger as well and two batteries for only $15 dollar. A very good investment as my camera never came with a separate charger anyways. Unfortunately, there are also other types of action cameras out there and SJCam look-alikes. Their batteries are a slightly different dimension and this video will not be applicable to you (as the battery will not fit properly). The dimensions of the battery are listed in the video. If you have the same dimension, go ahead and order yourself an XCSource. I am extremely pleased with the results. I will first test the new batteries by taking their weight. After which I will use the same camera with the same setting to test the length of recording time for 2x 900mAh batteries and 2x1100mAh batteries. Results will be provided at the end. XCSource seems to have GoPro batteries too. Unfortunately I don't have a GoPro myself so I can not comment on their performance. However, if you're looking for more recording life this is the battery to get!

tried to charge mine for 2 days with no luck, after watching this video decided to try taking battery out and putting it back only to find there was no battery in it. My 5-year-old grandson swears he didn't take the battery out but he did know exactly where to find it. Must be psychic.

OK SO IT DOES CHARGE TO 2 BARS AND THEN LIGHT GO OFF SAYING ITS FULL CHARGED I THINK.... becuase lights come on when charging and go off when it stops so guess it means full ?
BUT IT ONLY GOES TO 2 BARS
Yet it says camera lasts 24 hrs BUT IT HGOES TO 1 BAR IN 2 MINUTES WTF?

In my case, it was a bad cable that had too much resistance

So I used a white one wich figs right in and says chargin but it says it’s fully complete yet it’s not
I’m thinking of getting a apeman camera they seem good

I have An Hd 1080p, and When i charge it, i can turn on and of, and when i unplug the charger on the camera it won't turn on, even if i charge 1 hour on 2 hours😔

I believe your battery is dead. However, I had the same problem and it was because of the charger. Before throwing away your camera make sure it's receiving a good charge from the charger and or cable

very cool, I was suspecting something similar and used a "real" USB cable and noticed the same as you show in the video. Wouldn't be the first time that low budget cables actually do more harm than good to our electronic devices. Thanks for the video!
