I think there are two main problems APCs face in the game: 1.The uber simple driving model. Wheeled vehicles glide across heavy terrain better than IRL cars on perfect asphalt, so tracked APCs are disregarded, especially since they're slower. 2. They can't do what logis can. I have no idea what can be done to solve the first issue, as I don't think a physics overhaul is realistic, and removing cars doesn't make sense either, the second would be restricting the amount of logis which should scale with the current server population, or even restricting logi use to separate logistics squads similar to how AFV and heli crews operate. Heli especially tbh, given that they only work as transports/resupply carriers
Thanks for the subtitles. They are amazing when people are talking over each other. And the commentary is good for letting us understand your intentions. These additions raise this above other gameplay videos. Quality video!
Great video, you do a really good job of explaining mechanics in a way that isn't like tutorials for new player that I have watched, they seem more story orientated. Your videos explain things in much more of a practical situation. For example most tutorials will say; this is a grenade you throw it and it explodes the enemy and or yourself. But your videos tend to go more into depth and say; this is a grenade it is great to get to enemies behind cover etc., this is how you use it effectively. I realize each video must take a bit of work to make, so just wanted to say that your hard work is appreciated and I just wanted to say thanks for the work you put into each video. You have a great day mate. Cheers.
Excellent commentary! Its one thing to run-shoot-respawn and do that all over again, but actually TEACHING through video debriefing is what make good gamers great! Well done!
I love the battle taxis. My favourites are the BTR-D with the hull MG and the HMG, the British remote weapon Bulldog and the PLAs ZSL wheeled APC. The amount of suppression and protection it can bring to the table can be game changing, plus the abalitu to drop a rally with a single dismount because you don’t need a crewman kit is very underrated. Not to speak of the amount of ammo you carry with. Also, the looking up is a great tip, but to expand on it, you can also turn the turret to the side and alt-freelook to improve your protection and awareness even more.
I remember a Invasion match where my squad would hot drop out of our APC and completely swarm the point, clean up all the enemy, cap point and go on to the next one. I think we did 2 more times before losing the APC. SL always had a rally up.
The most undervalued skill in public Squad games is defense. When I SL I dedicate my squad to defending our first defensive flag just to make sure it’s not ignored. Multiple habs, a placed rally, fortification, etc. I might incorporate an APC at some point.
Quick tip with the 50cals in this hame. Aim in to target something and then go out of the ironsights to shoot stationary MGs on vics, helicopters and other vehicles are best fired this way especially since they fire tracer round.
This game really needs a duck in the hatch mechanic. Maybe also an option to throw nades/use GL as well. The taking cover thing is omething you see pretty much in every heavy combat clip out there, and in Ukraine nades/smokes and even infantry missile/rocket launchers (both with he and at heads) are also surprisingly common when positional warfare gives way to maneuver. I personally saw like 10 different videos of AT4 and RPGs being used, and I think everyone and their mother saw the Kherson clip which was shot from a soft skinned vehicle whatever it was
Love the content Dance. Wish I could play in a coordinated team like this but even on Fridays I feel like I can't get find an organized squad like you seem to always have.
Yeah it was difficult for me too until I found a circle of people to play with regularly, which helps things. Otherwise I recommend trying to join squad leaders whose names you recognize. For every video I post I also had ten disorganized squads to deal with LOL.
Thanks for this video, i always try to tell my random squad to make effective use of the fire support of these vehicles. Truly disrespected and fully unutilized.
@@HaebyungDance On this line, would you be interested in doing a sort of how-to video for LAT kits, i feel like its one of the more misunderstood classes in the game, and all the "popular" guides on youtube are severely outdated by 3-4 years. Keep up the great videos either way man, you knock it out of the park every time.
@@HaebyungDance the problem here is that... You can't do so in a live server because some guy would rather fighting in IFV with no dismount for some reason...
theres a decent ammount of servers that force you to make dedicated 2-3 person squad for crewing the vehicles and expressly dont allow mechanized ifv infantry squads for some reason
We had a full squad, an armor squad, and SLs from our clan on the other team, fairly balanced to ours, so this wasn’t a clan pubstomp. We were actually fighting our friends for most of this round. Regardless, I’ve run into plenty of untagged players on our server that are capable. Glad you enjoyed though!
@@HaebyungDance Im just messing for the most part) Good to know that you actually splitting into different teams! The mechanized/motorized infantry is probably my favorite tactic, but usually I have to pack up my whole squad into a logistics truck, because folks rush for TONKS and things alike. My favourite loadout vehicle wise is probably double AAVP - one logistics, and one with 12,7//40mm turret. Both stuffed with good frens in squad desirably (cos frenship is a power to reckon). Slow to advance, but extremly durable combo of assets.
lol gotcha. Yeah I often have to resort to a logi or transport truck. The double AAVP setup is awesome, especially because those things are absolute HP monsters!
love the content dance, many of your videos have helped me become a better player. also i would like to know your opinions on the removal of GE from the workshop.
Hey thanks man! I am bummed to see the mod go but it seems like there are just a couple of things the mod devs need to fix before it can come back. Looks like the main issue was advertizing on the "next map" screen, which they were notified broke the ToS prior.
I recommend not aiming down sight with the .50 cal so much, especially on that first TLAV engagement. You would have been much more accurate and confident just aiming with the tracers instead of trying to see through those iron sights.

The only thing the APC isnt in Squad is being a 'Personel Carrier'
They could definitely be used for transport more. It's something players could work on!
@@HaebyungDanceYeah , hate it when the APCs go to the end of the map and play world of tanks.

If you’re really proactive with moving on each point, you can often outpace the defenders’ preparation and blitz each point before they’re ready!
As always, you knock it out of the park.

in the 7th they dont really let mech infantry squad, 2 man squads get priority on claim. i think thats dumb. mechanized infantry squads are great
2 man squads don’t get priority. Just name claim your squad and you can open it up to have infantry as well.
