Ricardo Ferrari well I think his best ending in my opinion is actually him quitting the fbi. Even though I know its not technically a good ending for him.
I get the feeling people regard endings 'sucky' if they don't involve rainbows, unicorns and happiness. There's nothing wrong with his endings - in-fact, they seem to be the most varied of the characters, which is testament to his popularity. What more did people expect from a guy battling drug addiction, utilizing technology that can cause brain damage, and works in very dangerous profession? People like that don't tend to get happy endings - be happy that he at least has one.
You clearly don't understand the implications. Those tanks represent the side-effects of ARI becoming permanent due to Norman no longer taking the drugs that counter it. The only difference is it's less direct than a flat-out fatal overdose. This one is showing ARI bleeding into his reality - he will eventually devolve into an incurable paranoid-schizophrenic with psychotic episodes due to continued use of ARI without the drugs to stop brain-damage.
Actually, Case Closed isn't that bad of an ending as people think it is. Remember when Norman had hallucinations of a forest completely overwriting The room he's in? Well, now the only thing wrong are these miniature tanks. His problems are actually getting less severe.
It is pretty tragic, but it still creates a hope spot. If Norman's problems got less severe than they were before, who knows? Maybe after some time, they'll dissappear completely.
You've got it in reverse. Those tanks represent the brain-damaging effect of ARI now becoming permanent. This is due to him no longer using the drugs which counter-act ARI's side-effects, hence he's now starting to see things like digital tanks even in the real world WITHOUT the glasses even being on. I agree, Norman is better off resigning... not sounding it in a bad way, but I guess he has his fair share of problem. Sometimes it is better to walk away and forget all of this.
Even though his brain is damaged, I prefer the ending where he doesn't feel sorry for himself and managed to catch the killer. I imagine, that he would be more happy with that. At least he goes out damaged but a hero.
Munzur Baba That actually is his best ending and his brain is not damaged. It’s believed by the lore that the product only causes temporary hallucinations with excessive use. It most likely wares off after awhile.
People dont seem to understand Jayden endings, so im going to try to explain it the best way possible (Beware, my english is not perfect) ARI is like a controlled schizoprenia. It makes possible to imagine things that arent real like they were actually real, same as a psicotic episode does, but controlled. The thing is that with time, jayden starts to suffer a self induced schizoprenia that he cant control. So, he uses an antipsychotic (triptocaine) to stop this uncontrolled psychotic episode. Problem is, tripto causes addiction. The endings explanation is like this: -Jayden stops using ari and tripto, and so ends his schizoprenia, and lives in the real world. -Jayden uses both ari and tripto, and he dies from a overdose.(numerous tripto vials in the floor) -Jayden uses Ari, but not tripto, and develops a full wild schizoprenia, and starts having psychotic episodes. -Blake uses ari, and sees jayden. This is not real jayden tho, is a construct that his mind created in the Ari, most likely because he was thinking about jayden when he put on his glasses.
actually in the wiki The third ending Norman just recieves Slight Brain damage that may be permanent. But the 4th one actually created a AI of him like Jarvin in Iron Man which is why it also shows up in the death one too.
Abel GtrzRT i like your theory, but it has one inconsistency. Iam talking about the fragments when Jayden uses the ARI to investigate things. If it all was his shizo, then how it is possible to see things like lists of cops, car numbers and so on?
i just finished the game ,is it possible to get the first ending from 00.0.0.02.04 and still have jayden allive? beacuse i pretty damn sure he survived the encounter with the guy with all the cars. I also had the chance to call him with Madison... is it a bug or if i were to call him he wouldnt answer and seemignsly jayden died, witch in that case for me seem to be a pretty damn unclear death
What, they suck just because they're not all rainbows and happiness? There's a big lack of appreciation for tragic heroes with such vastly different paths. They're not sucky just because none of them are distinctly 'good endings'. Many stories have tragic characters who get dealt a bad hand no matter whether they deserved it or not.
That's what makes them so great. An addiction and brain damage don't just stop because of your willpower. What makes Jayden so great, is that he cares more about saving others than his own safety.
If people keep asking why Carter Blake and his colleagues are being such an ass towards Jayden, isn't it obvious that they are actually feeling very inferior with Norman's presence? Because one, Norman is an agent of a higher rank than them. Blake made it clear when he said the local police won't trample on evidence even though they're not in the FBI and think Norman is one of those bureaucrats behind the desk ordering people around and showing off his high tech gadget only FBI agents could use. Have to admit, those moments seeing Blake flipping off on Norman a lot of the times and Norman giving a piece of his mind to Blake again were pretty funny. Two, their rivalry was very serious with Blake keep saying he's the one who found OK w/o having to have a profiler like Norman. He looks down on Norman thinking that Norman's method was a waste of time and unnecessary. Norman was the intelligent, by book kind of guy and had to take a lot of crap from them seeing he's the only FBI guy around. Even Perry said he didn't want the FBI to be involved but had no choice since the OK case got even bigger. Too obvious that these policemen had such huge egos and yet inferior at the same time. So you should see why everybody is having inferiority complex thinking they're supposedly good enough in doing their jobs and yet still needing one FBI guy around them to 'monitor and assist' them? Indirectly means that they're not able to do their jobs well. So of course the hissy fits by Blake all the time. I've been in Norman's shoes before. Believe me when you're from a higher rank and have to work with people like Blake and Perry, it is hell.
+twint1p The TV ending is the good one. He survives, solves the case and stops taking Triptocaine, with the side effect that he'll be seeing some allucinations until he's fully recovered
That isn't correct at all. Without the drugs (requirement of the 'tanks' ending), Norman isn't countering ARI's brain-damaging side-effects, hence we now see that ARI is bleeding into his reality as a sign of him becoming permanently brain-damaged. It is NOT a good ending.
Holy buck... I seriously cried watching the ending where he was talking to himself and the one where he ODed... just... damn. So much torment going on inside of him, especially with the ARI and Triptocane...
That means that you used ARI too much. So you know, the butler in the ARI simulation wasn't talking about tripto (jayden's drugs) when he said it was dangerous to use too much. He was actually talking about the ARI system itself.
Even though it was a pain in the ass, I got the ending where Ethan, Shaun and Madison get the apartment, Jayden resigns, and Lauren kills "You know who". Not gonna lie, felt pretty proud of myself
Jordan Alexander All I really had to search is the requirements for Jayden to solve the puzzle (I missed the gas station tickets), other than that, its a freaking easy game, or may I say... movie All you really have to do is press buttons
Me too he was awesome! He had the cool glasses and moves too! When I watch someone played Jayden died by being knocked out and got killed by a crusher! After that I got so mad and stress
+John Sridaoduan Damn. That scene haunted me for days…. That crusher thing. Such a 'happy' game this game is, huh? I like Jayden too so I'm a bit pissed on his ending had to go.
- What are you going to do now? - I don't know. Resign...? Try to forget...? I don't know... - Is Tripto part of your plan to forget? - It's the most effective way I've found. - Except it's not a solution. - For the moment I'm not looking for solutions. I just want to forget. - I'm afraid things may have affected you more than you think, Norman. - Why do you say that? I'm okay... I'm getting through this. Let's just take it easy. See what happens when it's all over. - It may never be over, Norman.
Good character. Shitty endings One is his coworkers saying how they never liked him anyway and a minute of putting on glasses One is the right thing to do, but bullshitingly boring. One is a fucking late night talk show and some bathroom drugs. One is just him tripping balls. And the last is welcome to the most rapey room you ever seen. Perfect.
As sad as that is, it's more real to life than a happy ending for Norman. Addiction normally does do irreparable damage to the addict, even when recovered and staying in the same place often causes relapses to be more probable so either way, Norman wouldn't have a happy outcome. It may suck but, it was a very real way to go about it. I'll take those endings over his Tripto deaths any-day. It's a great message that people with addictions aren't terrible people, they just have a terrible problem.
I really think Case Closed isn't that bad an ending, because his hallucinations used to be world-changing when he used to do the drugs. The tanks are an improvement and he can even see that they're fake. A few more years and he might be doing much better mentally, with the right help
I dont get the ending where the non real tanks come at him it feels like an bad ending but his addiction of the blue thing stopped, but it stills feel like an bad ending.
Well, he used Triptocaine to combat the effects of the ARI, which if used in an excessive manner, damages the user's psychological health. So, even if he managed to quit the addictive drug, his brain will still suffer from the effects of the ARI shades, meaning that Jayden has some pretty damn sad endings ;~;
@@mjstwocents4568 I'd have to disagree. From the clip we definetly know that he recieves brain-damage over the uses of ARI, we also never know whether he continues to use the ARI or not thus bringing up the possibilites of him further developing his schizoprenia. So from that ending all we know is that he is a paranoid schizoprenic with psychotic episodes
i don't know what you want. he didn't "give up" at All. he makes a choice. a choice to live without Ari in "the real world". he is despair yeah, because now he knew how much he add To do. I love him so much, funny but complex. a pretty good cocktail :)
for those wondering what's up, long term useage of the ARI system causes hallucinations. The Tripto he takes (while highly addictive) is the drug used to counter the side effects of using the ARI, one of which is hallucinations.
I wanted to slap Blake so bad when he was treating him like shit. I wish there was a part where you could like...arrest him or something... He deserved it! Jaydens my personal favorite character like ever!
Pastel Bambi The worst that happens to Blake is that if Ethan is killed at the warehouse but Norman is alive (I think you have to get Norman not to go to the warehouse though), the ending news report says that Blake and Captain Perry are suspended, showing that Norman reported their actions after learning of Ethan’s wrongful death. That or whatever ends up happening to him in the aftermath of the “Uploaded” ending when he sees Norman walking towards him when he has on the ARI glasses. Personally I’d like to think Norman slowly causes Blake to go insane by torturing him through the glasses, making him go through the same thing he did when he experienced withdrawal from Triptocaine.
No, the ending with Let's Talk Tonight can be WITHOUT the Triptocaine problems, if you don't take tripto trough the whole game. That will be the best ending, in that case.
Him leaving or him seeing the tanks is the best endings for him. Personally if he sees tanks but ot doesn't affect his ability to think and live, then that's light worl.
its sad how David Cage can make a DLC for Jayden about his past and drug problems but instead he gave that opportunity to Madison and yet another serial killer...I was hoping for another development or a spin-off or some sort based on this game and the characters in it because they are complex and interesting. Too bad he moved on to other games, Jayden was my fav character of this game and all time
I like how the background becomes darker and a storm is brewing if you take too long. It reflects how Jayden's brain is becoming more and more damaged.
For the uninitiated, Norman has two distinct issues. ARI, his hi-tech glasses - which can eventually cause lasting brain damage - and Triptocaine - a drug that helps counter its effects, though said drug is highly addictive. Norman is so hell-bent on solving this case that he will resign if he fails (ie. someone else saves Shaun without him), which turns out to be the best outcome as he hands in his glasses, opting to live in the 'real world', and has no reason to continue taking the drug (though whether he overcomes the addiction is unknown). Alternatively, if Shaun dies, Norman will succumb to guilt and eventually die via overdose. If he solves the case and saves Shaun - regardless of taking or avoiding Triptocain - he will inevitably start showing signs of permanent brain damage thanks to ARI - as shown by digital tanks now being visible to him in reality. Of course, just like Ethan and Madison, he can also be killed in various ways throughout the game, to which Blake will try on his glasses and be spooked by 'uploaded Norman'. In short, there's no truly 100% 'good' ending for Norman. He either dies during the case, overdoses afterwards, becomes schizophrenic afterwards, or fails the investigation - which is the closest thing to giving Norman a 'normal life', thus, it's the closest thing to a good ending Norman has in the game. It's a sad fact that if Shaun dies, two of the four playable characters are guaranteed to off themselves, even if they make it to the end.
the ending where Blake puts Jayden's glasses isn't a bad ending, not at ALL, i even consider it the BEST ending over the one where he retires, trust me
@@jinthekingkazama1159 It's really not a good ending. It isn't the *WORST* ending by any means as there is still a digital ghost of him in the ARI but him dying is clearly a bad ending. I need an explanation on why you think Norman dying is the best ending.
@@dappegames8706 Sorry, I was an idiot back then, but you're right, Norman dying is a terrible ending. I would rather have him get Case Closed than Uploaded.
By the way, I would like to inform you that whether you take the Tripto or not, doesn't affect his endings. The actual way of getting "Smoking Mirrors" and "Case Closed" is that all characters fail to find Shaun and Norman survives for the former, and Norman solves the case and survives for the latter. Also, I've heard that the hallucination cannot happen if you don't use the ARI glasses too much or solve the clues fast enough, but not sure if it's true.
@@jinthekingkazama1159 The outcomes are set in stone. There is no way to avoid the hallucinations. You either die before the ending, solve the case (and become schizophrenic), overdose if Shaun dies -- or resign (if Norman failed to show up for the finale and Shaun still survives). If you want to test that theory, then make Norman leave every crime scene immediately, never put on ARI, and let Madison give Norman the address. He will still hallucinate, because the ending literally shows him continuing to use ARI for later investigations (to a point where the effects finally take root).
It's really a shame that poor Norman has no good endings. He's my personal favourite character, and is the only character who isn't directly related to Shaun Mars who genuinely cares about him. I kind of wish that he could have gotten at least ONE good ending. I mean, the best endings he can get are either that he must leave his job, his passion, or that, despite overcoming his addiction, he is permanently damaged from it. Poor guy just can't catch a break.
The only best ending is the one with the tanks. It seems someone hacked his device to where ya no longer needed the glasses to see the certain things off of the device for as long as ya wore the glove.
yes . u dont let norman use the tripto and when blake tells u that they found the origami killer and leave , u just leave without usibg the ARI system NOT EVEN TRY TO FIND WHO THE KILLER IS , , the when madison discover the adress of were shaun is , u choose to call call jayden. like that he dont use the ARI to much, and he does not take the tripto , he wont go mad :)
Shit, all Jayden's endings suck. He resigning from FBI might be the best one for him, screwing Ethan, Shaun and maybe Peige in the process, but, leading a normal life in real life. If he becames the hero, he goes on, investigating and shit, but probably got a permanent brain damage from using AIR too much, even if he resists Tripto. And, loose in despair and overdose in Tripto... If he isn't killed in the investigation, that is.
Necro DetonadosBR if you don't take triptocain through out the game the tank scene didn't appear it ends with him flushing the triptocain down the toilet
Make sure you do lots of searching in the fish tank place where Scott almost kills you. You should find a gun and some gas station receipts. Maybe a bullet, but I think those two are the most important. While in ARI the last time, make sure you look at the recording in the "clues" box. Go back to when Scot was choking you on the desk, and pause it and analyze. It should zoom in on his wrist. Do a geo search on the gas receipt and the "?" box. Hope this helps.
Blake was indeed one of the characters that were the most hateful, alongside Paco, Charles, Perry, Mad Jack, and Baker. And also Leland if you count Madison's DLC.
The end with the trashing of the crypto is my favorite,I love that Jayden get rid of that shit with a single move, his clear mind and love for his life that he kept is much better.😊
I was so sad, that I accidentally killed Norman in the Ari, but now watching all his endings, it might be for the best. Poor guy, his gameplay was by far the best of all.
@@lucyk8935 Isnt death better than suffering though? I dont know his all endings have their downsides and great things about them. Ranking/Good thing/(bad thing) 1. Stopping with the drug and solving the crime gaining him huge amount of fame and recognition. (Schizophrenia from ARI) 2. Resigning but keeping his sanity. (No fame, loss of a job, the aim of his life lost + no guarantee hell succed in real world as hes quite asocial.) 3. Hes dead [yes for him even death might be better] and people remember him. (Death of the best protagonist imo) 4. Overdosing and ending his suffering. (Very sad and cold death alone without anyone to care. :'( ) Thats my order if I had to sort them out. I guess there is no definite ranking though since someone might think the N3 is the best since its death in action is kinda honorable and it ends his suffering and hes remembered by other people (Blake)
@malpuro Yup. The hallucinations are a type of brain damage caused from using the ARI too much. (As you can see when you check out his wall-ball score. Its in the 10000's even though one bounce = 1 point O_o)
Shame, Norman is easily the best character in the game and all of his endings suck for him. A. He dies. B. He fails his investigation and resigns from his job (possibly leaving other characters to die). C. He accuses Blake,is mocked, and sent back home. D. He succeeds in his investigation, but is then fucked for the rest of his life from Ari use. Even if he refuses to take the Tripto whenever possible. We couldn't have one ending where he succeeds, gives up Ari without any consequences, and lives happily ever after?
I genuinely feel bad for Norman, he did so much throughout the game. Only for some lame ass endings. The closest thing to “happy” is where he leaves the FBI. All the others are depressing in some way. Especially when his schizophrenia starts showing him ARI things in the real world. I wish they gave him better endings.
He can create projections based on his thoughts on triptoicane but can still fight and is quick witted but can die while being overpowered or losing control of himself.
Who knows, with "Case Closed," he could get over the whole Tanks thing through taking a break from ARI. Maybe they were just lonely, and wanted Norman to play with them for a change. After all, ARI has interacted with him before.
@malpuro The more he plays it the more it goes up not just for one sitting. But the fact that he has a score that high, shows just how much he's using the ARI outside of work related stuff. Which is in itself a sign of addiction But the thing that is clear cut is that using the ARI in excess causes the user to have a hard time differentiating the real world from the artificial world due to damage to the brain over prolonged use. The score is just an indication of just how much he's been using it
(Cont'd) So the reason why Jayden starts seeing tanks in the real world is because his mind still thinks he's using ARI, or that his brain is beginning to think ARI's world is real and is jumbling it together. Now this leaves his ending open in that Jayden could stop using ARI for a while, after being freaked out by what he saw, and restoring his brains functionality back to normal. Or he continues using it and the visions get worse. Or he tells his superiors allowing them to fix it later.
the scene were he he sees the tanks dose not happen if you resist the drug every time its the same scenes just minus the last one witch is a good ending for him
I got resignation because I didn't figure out YOU KNOW WHO was the killer until the next cutscene. But I was happy with Norman's resigning because he finally seemed like he straightened himself out and not be an addict of either ARI or tripto.
it depends on how many times you decide to take the triptico, not how long you use ARI. that second to last one is the scariest i think. trapped in ARI forever.
It's damaging it. He never programed or 'imagined' the tanks there so it was effecting his brain to start mentally harming him really. Sad because they were so cute.
It would be so cool for a sequel for this game where there's only Norman as a playable character. Since ARI was still going on in his head even when he took the ARI off, it leaves him with ARI in his head permenantly. He could use that to solve crimes without the glasses and work as a private investigator kicking some crime ass.
The ending where he takes of the glasses and still sees the tanks was the ending I got on my first playthrough, I prefer that ending. Those glasses fucked him up.
I think it's when you don't play the game at the office scene when you wait, and you let Madison call Jayden and let Jayden give up with the ARI when he's trying to find out himself where the Shaun is, but I'm not sure.
People here saying Jayden has the worst endings, but I think Lauren has the worst possible endings, she either dies, gets arrested for murder, or realises she fell in love with her son's killer. Atleast Jayden has the resignation ending which is somewhat good for his mental health.
To understand the meaning of the endings Norman uses a special device ARI glasses which helps him During solving cases. This device using Normans brain as a direct CPU. This is resulting in the fact that the ARI users become exhausted more often than other people and hence needs sleeping more often. However since cases requiring faster solving of the puzzles the special drug Triptocain developed turning the side effects of exhaustion similar when people not sleeping for days dissapear. However Jayden does not keeps in mind about the usage of the drug and uses triptocain as an almost all the time solution for being exhausted which could result in massive side effects or even death. Uploaded: Norman died, Only some minor side show appears Smoking mirrors: Shaun dies and Jayden becomes a very depressed person after his failure to solve the case. Even after the Shauns case Jayden still attemps to find out were did he make mistakes and a finding out who the killed is but being unable to find out the answers overuses ARI again and dies pressumably by overexhaustion caused by his overtaxed brain. Resignation: Shaun survived but not by Jayden's work as he did not get the answers needen, After his failure he became depressed and not seeing himself being able to cope with the FBI's requirements and resingness, the rest of Jayden fate is unkown. Case Closed: Jayden solves the case and become a well known and succesful FBI agent. He decidess to not to use triptocain. At this point many says Jayden become brain damaged however it is a bit tricky since it is more of a simbolic end than an actual one. Without the triptocain Jayden can't shortcut the side effects of ARI. The scene plays at night in his office and Jayden using ARI The tank appearing giving him a warming like "That's enough for today!" and Jayden surrenders. Meaning that Jayden has to keep in mind the limits of using ARI in the future.
1:51 - 2:05 Blake: Damn this is a Trick it's a Trick Nice one Jayden I like it! HOLY SHIT! Jayden: it's only a Trick to you Blake! Blake: But I thought you were Dead! Jayden: I'm only Dead to you....... but not in here!
No, this ending is actually pretty good considering what else you can get. It also doesn't mean he dies it just means he overused his ari and now has to take the consequences. What happens after this: Will he stop using ari but be haunted by mini tanks or will he continue using ari and probably die of the overuse it's not shown. When he gives up the investigation it also doesn't mean he can't save Shaun. When you contact him with Madison afterwards he'll still be able to go there.
@Camperoftehintrowebz You only get that ending if Norman makes it to the warehouse and lives. The tanks are there to show how ARI is becoming one with Norman's mind
Jayden used the Triptocaine before the history of heavy rain. There is no information about when he started taking it and how he got it. So the drug is taken anyway :/. But because he used it, it seems has taken a special effect on his mind because it was used as a painkiller after using the ARI which had an effect on his mind. I know Jayden used Triptocaine before, but everything else in this comment is my theory :p.
norman best ending is i think Reasign giving him the reasoning to stop using ARI, the other one is Case closed but its not as good because he starting to hallucination Blake: why dont you fuck off NorMAN? Norman: :]

People dont seem to understand Jayden endings, so im going to try to explain it the best way possible (Beware, my english is not perfect)
ARI is like a controlled schizoprenia.
The endings explanation is like this:
-Jayden stops using ari and tripto, and so ends his schizoprenia, and lives in the real world.
-Jayden uses both ari and tripto, and he dies from a overdose.(numerous tripto vials in the floor)
-Jayden uses Ari, but not tripto, and develops a full wild schizoprenia, and starts having psychotic episodes.
Abel GtrzRT what about when he started seeing the tanks? Is that his schizophrenia entering reality? I don't know how it works sorry
Chloe Kenna probably harmless he can live with it
Abel GtrzRT i like your theory, but it has one inconsistency. Iam talking about the fragments when Jayden uses the ARI to investigate things. If it all was his shizo, then how it is possible to see things like lists of cops, car numbers and so on?
Wait he had 4 endings?
lol norman's endings suck even though i think he is the best protagoinst
i know right
i just finished the game ,is it possible to get the first ending from 00.0.0.02.04 and still have jayden allive? beacuse i pretty damn sure he survived the encounter with the guy with all the cars.
@@RopeDrink well, there is a good ending, where he quit the FBI. He probably found his path in life, got off drugs and didn't get the brain damage.
Believe me when you're from a higher rank and have to work with people like Blake and Perry, it is hell.
what job were u in if u dont mind me asking
+ZIMO F.C why do you ask?
+Georgia Andrea its a question out of curiosty u dnt hve to answer it.
ZIMO F.C Well, I'm also curious to your question, too. In fact, very curious! Haha!
+Georgia Andrea it was intresting to know
It's because Norman used ARI so much that his memory and persona were uploaded into the glasses. (thus the name of the ending; Uploaded)
lame no good ending for him. Except the resigning but the he apparently doesn't solve the case himself? Dude was my favourite character
@@RopeDrink you right
@@peghop3061 When you compare the tanks to the forrest in fall sudden hallucination. I actually think believe Xander's version more.
@@RopeDrink the wiki for the game says Xander's theory so imma believe Xander
Pain in the ass? its a very easy game and to get all endings you must re-play like the 5 or 6 last chapters only.
+nixxxon18 I tried to do this without a guide...Or knowledge of how David Cage's brain works.
Jordan Alexander All I really had to search is the requirements for Jayden to solve the puzzle (I missed the gas station tickets), other than that, its a freaking easy game, or may I say... movie
All you really have to do is press buttons
nixxxon18 You have to remember...I suck
How do you get the ending where in Ethan kills Scott while fighting Madison?
ı cried in the last one jayden was my favorite character
Me too he was awesome! He had the cool glasses and moves too! When I watch someone played Jayden died by being knocked out and got killed by a crusher! After that I got so mad and stress
+John Sridaoduan Damn. That scene haunted me for days…. That crusher thing. Such a 'happy' game this game is, huh? I like Jayden too so I'm a bit pissed on his ending had to go.
Georgia Andrea Yeah, me too.
Shitty endings
One is his coworkers saying how they never liked him anyway and a minute of putting on glasses
One is the right thing to do, but bullshitingly boring.
One is a fucking late night talk show and some bathroom drugs.
One is just him tripping balls.
And the last is welcome to the most rapey room you ever seen.
Perfect.
5:50 Jayden is human version of connor rk800
More like Connor is the android version of Norman since Heavy Rain was released before DBH
Agreed.
Poor Nahmen, he loses in some way in every ending he has.
I really think Case Closed isn't that bad an ending, because his hallucinations used to be world-changing when he used to do the drugs. The tanks are an improvement and he can even see that they're fake. A few more years and he might be doing much better mentally, with the right help
yep!!
@@katitherat Exactly what I thought not only does he know there fake but he also can see the real world around him
I dont get the ending where the non real tanks come at him it feels like an bad ending but his addiction of the blue thing stopped, but it stills feel like an bad ending.
Well, he used Triptocaine to combat the effects of the ARI, which if used in an excessive manner, damages the user's psychological health. So, even if he managed to quit the addictive drug, his brain will still suffer from the effects of the ARI shades, meaning that Jayden has some pretty damn sad endings ;~;
I think it's possible his problems are getting less worse though, because he used to see the entire scenery changing before now it's just tanks
I don't know why but Norman's endings seemed more emotional to me than any others.
i don't know what you want. he didn't "give up" at All. he makes a choice. a choice to live without Ari in "the real world". he is despair yeah, because now he knew how much he add To do. I love him so much, funny but complex. a pretty good cocktail :)
I think it'd be cool if Blake kept the glasses and Jayden helped him solve mysteries

Norman is such an awesome, adorable character. I can't help but feel bad for him in most of his endings.
for those wondering what's up, long term useage of the ARI system causes hallucinations. The Tripto he takes (while highly addictive) is the drug used to counter the side effects of using the ARI, one of which is hallucinations.
7:09 that is a look of sheer terror
My fav person
No, the ending with Let's Talk Tonight can be WITHOUT the Triptocaine problems, if you don't take tripto trough the whole game. That will be the best ending, in that case.
Honestly, I find the 2nd ending to be the best one for Norman. He gets to live, Shaun gets to live, and he doesn't remain addicted to ARI.
Him leaving or him seeing the tanks is the best endings for him. Personally if he sees tanks but ot doesn't affect his ability to think and live, then that's light worl.
It is a shame even his "best" ending is sad. In fact I'd say The best ending for him is to resign from the FBI and turn in Ari for good
Anyways he might come back Ro the FBI but like he said he didn't Made a Promise.
its sad how David Cage can make a DLC for Jayden about his past and drug problems but instead he gave that opportunity to Madison and yet another serial killer...I was hoping for another development or a spin-off or some sort based on this game and the characters in it because they are complex and interesting. Too bad he moved on to other games, Jayden was my fav character of this game and all time
oh that last ending was soooo depressing, my endings with Norman was always the best :3
I like how the background becomes darker and a storm is brewing if you take too long. It reflects how Jayden's brain is becoming more and more damaged.
Ok the last one he died too so its sad!
He has two endings where he died and two endings where he lives
@@dappegames8706
Sorry, I was an idiot back then, but you're right, Norman dying is a terrible ending.
It seems someone hacked his device to where ya no longer needed the glasses to see the certain things off of the device for as long as ya wore the glove.
yes . u dont let norman use the tripto and when blake tells u that they found the origami killer and leave , u just leave without usibg the ARI system NOT EVEN TRY TO FIND WHO THE KILLER IS , , the when madison discover the adress of were shaun is , u choose to call call jayden. like that he dont use the ARI to much, and he does not take the tripto , he wont go mad :)
really? no tanks at the end?
Aleks messed this one up bad
Make sure you do lots of searching in the fish tank place where Scott almost kills you. You should find a gun and some gas station receipts. Maybe a bullet, but I think those two are the most important.
While in ARI the last time, make sure you look at the recording in the "clues" box. Go back to when Scot was choking you on the desk, and pause it and analyze. It should zoom in on his wrist. Do a geo search on the gas receipt and the "?" box. Hope this helps.
Great character, much love. Just wish there was more of a way to punish or befriend Blake during the story.
5:44 so in this ending he gets crazy and starts to see hallucinations without his glasses

@@lucyk8935 Isnt death better than suffering though? I dont know his all endings have their downsides and great things about them.
Ranking/Good thing/(bad thing)
1. Stopping with the drug and solving the crime gaining him huge amount of fame and recognition. (Schizophrenia from ARI)
2. Resigning but keeping his sanity. (No fame, loss of a job, the aim of his life lost + no guarantee hell succed in real world as hes quite asocial.)
3. Hes dead [yes for him even death might be better] and people remember him. (Death of the best protagonist imo)
4. Overdosing and ending his suffering. (Very sad and cold death alone without anyone to care. :'( )
Thats my order if I had to sort them out. I guess there is no definite ranking though since someone might think the N3 is the best since its death in action is kinda honorable and it ends his suffering and hes remembered by other people (Blake)

The ending with the tanks frightens me more than everything else.
He is my favorite character.
That's part of what makes him such an interesting character though.
what accent does he have?
Idk, but imo it sounds like a mix of Boston and England.
Sarken I know enlish this is no english. if it is then it's 0.5 %
It's meant to be Northeastern American, the actor himself is British. The result is Nahman.
I'd like to see an ending with no tripto or ari used.
More like an Ending with No Tripto,Ari and Still Working for the FBI.
Norman is the best.
If he can think and act at the same time then he doesn't need the ARI all the time.
Thanks for the answer. I've realized why the two Norman, passed the game several times with different epilogue.
Norman is good willed an thoughtful interesting character.
@malpuro The more he plays it the more it goes up not just for one sitting. But the fact that he has a score that high, shows just how much he's using the ARI outside of work related stuff. Which is in itself a sign of addiction
But the thing that is clear cut is that using the ARI in excess causes the user to have a hard time differentiating the real world from the artificial world due to damage to the brain over prolonged use. The score is just an indication of just how much he's been using it
Norman was awesome he can use that necrotine to focus his senses and his glasses to pick up evidence.
Jayden best end is resignation.
Norman was my favourite character and i was dissapointed that the only semi-good ending for him is leaving the force
5:57
Norman: What the hell is this? I can see them now?!?
School nurse: Put some ice on it.
He has been using the ARI so much he can now use the ARI interface without the glasses... And he enjoys it.
2:03
Norman is going to do something bad to Blake in his VR world
He can focus and change reality.
the scene were he he sees the tanks dose not happen if you resist the drug every time its the same scenes just minus the last one witch is a good ending for him
I got resignation because I didn't figure out YOU KNOW WHO was the killer until the next cutscene.
He can control his addiction to make him more durable and smarter and tough.
The ending where he takes of the glasses and still sees the tanks was the ending I got on my first playthrough, I prefer that ending. Those glasses fucked him up.
Jayden - You're not Tony Stark Blake.
Blake - gasp!!!
Atleast Jayden has the resignation ending which is somewhat good for his mental health.
his endings are the absolute best and no one can convince me otherwise
at one point, it forces you to take some
To understand the meaning of the endings
Norman uses a special device ARI glasses which helps him During solving cases.
Uploaded: Norman died, Only some minor side show appears
Smoking mirrors: Shaun dies and Jayden becomes a very depressed person after his failure to solve the case.
1:51 - 2:05
Blake: Damn this is a Trick it's a Trick Nice one Jayden I like it! HOLY SHIT!
Jayden: it's only a Trick to you Blake!
Blake: But I thought you were Dead!
Jayden: I'm only Dead to you....... but not in here!
7:25 Look how big Norman's nose has gotten
No one Norman Jayden's endings are good, actually, no one is really bad too.
I know Jayden used Triptocaine before, but everything else in this comment is my theory :p.
norman best ending is i think Reasign giving him the reasoning to stop using ARI, the other one is Case closed but its not as good because he starting to hallucination
Blake: why dont you fuck off NorMAN?
Norman: :]
Jayden is my favorite character. I'm trying to get all the endings, but i don't know if i can kill him. It's going to be real hard for me.
He does have a happy ending i mean he kills the origami killer, gets to shuan, he stops his addiction :)
And remember in the beginnin when he plays with the ball? There are 3 games, one, the ball, second somthing with these tanks, not sure what tough, and a third one.
