My 11 yo dog came down with SARDS within the last week. Luckily she knows every inch of our house but I find jingle bells pinned on the hem of my shirt seems to help her always know where I am. Thanks to whoever posted this tip on UA-cam. It’s heartbreaking when your little best friend looks at you but doesn’t see you. I keep positive, it could be worse. ❤️
This is great! I just adopted a senior dog who is nearly blind. A harness does not work well on a walk with him--- he's happy go lucky and brave in moving forward and all over the place--- hard to walk on a leash basically. This tool might be really nice--- yes-- your chould market it!
Absolutely brilliant!! If you ever come up with 'curb feelers' for blind dogs that would be wonderful too. You should sell this product in pet stores - I would buy it if it could be made for under $20. Great idea- thank you!
I realize this is old and your sweet dog has likely passed on but 1. Use a harness!! 2. Kickstarter! what an awesome fabulous invention! Surely there is a market!
I would like to make one of these for my blind Westie......did you use rivets? Please make video showing how to make it....thanks,! Btw....I had this idea also.....even before seeing your video....was not sure what type of stick to use though...LOL
Hi I love the idea, you've thought of everything re safety . I am going to use either water pipe (blue pipe supplied for house water or a whilte pipe used for waste water from the sink, prehaps a bit more rigid, as my dog is very large
hi i am adopting a blind, toothless, no vocal cords , suspected breeder abused poodle. I have never had a dog as a pet, only cats (i have 3 now). how do i potty train her?
My 10 1/2 year old Golden Retriever just had to have both her eyes removed due to a type of Glaucoma that occurs only in Golden Retrievers. It is still new to her so she is still trying to get use to her new world.

I used leather rivets ... easy to compress with pliers ... and an old fishing rod

Thank you for your video! My friends dog has gone completely blind quickly because of diabetes and we are looking for ways to help.
