Thanks for another honest review Chris .... I find those splatter targets make the groups look way worse than plain targets....... Keep up the good work chap :)

Thank you. Yes. I agree, but these look so good! I think it makes it really easy to see on camera. Take care!

Yes , excellent accuracy for sure , and superb quality as well , my local RFD is a Steyr , FWB & Walther dealer and has them in a glass presentation cabinet , theres some right fancy kit in there I can tell you . The wife always says " have one " " have one " " you know you like them , your always looking " , yes , yes I do .. but my way of thinking is , these rifles are made specifically for HFT , FT , and bench rest , more so HFT then anything , and I really can't see me ( @ 22st & 6'4" ) rolling around the floor with one of these at nearly £3000 new .. YES , I considered one , but at the end of the day , doing what I do with my rifles , which is a bit of target shooting then knock downs and spinners later . The MAIN attributes of these types of rifle is the adaptability for different postures and situations on the HFT course .. and to be honest , a lot of my rifles are as accurate , if not more accurate then these specialist ones .
That said , I'll more then likely buy one in the end .. once there's nothing " different " available in the air gun world .

Another brilliant review Chris I myself are not to kean on pcp, s mainly because of the price tag in you experience what is the most accurate spring rifle you have come across.

Thanks Nigel. Out of the box, the LGU. However, the modified hw95 I did a video about was perhaps a bit more accurate.

The 'problem' you're having is intentional. it's a trigger training facility to practise trigger technique without discharging the rifle.

Yes, most Styer guns have the same mechanism and it is very useful for offhand practicing

Great Rifle from my country 🇦🇹. I love my hunting 5 cause it makes a poor shooter like me looking better 😉

I have a Hunting 5, which is excellent, so was looking for information on other air rifles from Steyr
"Twist off the barrel”, is that correct?
I often wonder why demonstrators don’t do a run through making notes, prior to posting … and choose a site without so much background disturbance

I can only answer the question regarding the situation. I have no other place to shoot.

It was your SWshooters I figured would be a club field >50 ft from a road

So quite interesting you mentioned a HFT500 because that's what i own but i potentially am considering a styer. So in my head are you saying their's no difference 🤔 😎🔫

That lg110 is not impressive for the price. Just shot my hft500 for the first time this morning and got 20 shot group under 20mm at 50m (0.75" at 55 yards) for significantly less money.

    • @southwestshooters

You may simply be a better shot than me. It's like cars, some people will like BMW, while others will like Ford... You reach a point where money isn't an issue for some people. But not me! Which means that I may actually....

That's what I think my AA s510R Ultimate Sporter can do the same and cost probably 50% less.

I have been shooting for many years now with both air rifles and firearms.
I own a Steyr lg110 and with out doubt it is the most accurate air rifle probably in the world.
Many of the worlds top shot use them at the Olympic games. On the bench mine produces ten shot groups under 6mm and smaller at 25m opening up to 10mm at 50m when I do my part.
My rifle likes JSB 7.87 and 8.44 4.52 pellets the best, delivering 75 to 80 shots per fill.
I have never had any issues with the rifle, simple to work on just an all round good egg.

My Air Arms s510R Ultimate Sporter can do this easy.
