  • It's ‪#‎eweek2016‬ ! USC Viterbi, the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) and Funny or Die reimagine the E! network - famous for its 24/7 coverage of the Kardashians, True Hollywood Stories and celebrity fashion disasters. What if E! became all about 24/7, non-stop, breathless coverage of the engineers and the technologies that change our world?

omg this is great!!!! I've always thought about this! our precession is less glamorized so many time engineering students don't feel as thought they are accomplishing much coz the media doesn't give them the fame and publicity. But fame and publicity is not a validation for success :)

Great! Now do one for scientists! Small quibble: at 1:02 why is that car apparently a dirty, anachronistic ICE machine?

I'm getting the feeling that these comments don't understand that this is a joke...

Surely coverage of engineers can be done more intelligently than celebrity coverage. Yes, treat them as rock stars (they're better than rock stars, no offense to the more talented rock stars) but let's get a little more substance in the coverage than this. K?
