Still stands my hair on end even after repeated continuous listening sessions since the date of release thirty years ago. This transcription is a great service. Holdsworth did things on such a consistently high level that his entire output is a tour de force. From these rocking virtuosi and quite a few morosely downtempo, he did something for every jazz metal mood. If you liked this and need a hint, check out Wardenclydfe Tower.
great job! it might be a challenge to tab this out, as i'm pretty sure allan tuned every other string on his synthaxe up an octave for this song. you can hear some crazy leaps in the first few phrases. whether it applied for the whole song, i'm not sure. pretty sure he was able to switch between tunings in the same way as he could turn the harmoniser on and off as he was playing. still one of my favourite solos by him after all these years. keep up the good work!
Hi Tim. Thank you! I am currently designing a website where I can offer all my transcriptions online for a fairly small fee. It will be done very soon, and I'll let you know when!
Thank for this beautiful transcription!
