As a 80 year old banjo picker - I know the hand pain and hand issues that come with age.....in other words, my fingers and hands do not respond like they one did. My brain suffers as well :) Great job Randy Fry!
@@randyfry9817 I discovered cortisone shots! I also bought a Gold Tone AC-1 - it only weighs 3 libs and I can haul it everywhere with ease. When compared to my Arias Pro and RC R35 which weigh 4 times more I can over look the tone. It plays great for a banjo under 300. Keep posting!
@@nightskyimaging Interesting. I have a Gibson RB250 that weighs a ton. I may someday look into a lighter banjo. Thanks --- Planning to post more. Do youpost?
@@randyfry9817 No, I do not post music . I do a lot of astro imaging - I do post those on my channel. I have threatened to play some banjo, mandolin or guitar from time to time but I am afraid people may think it is a comedy act.
There are four parts to the version I play. I started memorizing each and then put them in the order the teacher thought best. It took a long time and I am now working on playing it in a Trio I belong to. Would you like the Tab it's quite messy --- but readable
Now that would take me a long time to learn. Great job.
Your rendition of The Entertainer was very entertaining
Thank you. I'm working on a version with a Trio I joined. I'll put it up when we play it.
Beautiful!
Thank you --- I am working on a version to play with a trio I joined.
@@randyfry9817 can't wait to hear it!
Now that's one song I've never heard on the banjo!
That is what makes it fun --- Unusual. Thank you

I hear you -- but even with the problems coming up in playing it is great to be able to play! Thank you
