So long ago since I first saw this performance of Tony's with his visitors. I'm struck by his overall kindness, a very pleasant show to attend, I imagine. He's a bit of a clown as well and I very much wish there were more of these readings online. ❤
Stephen Williamson - you may be correct - he certainly seems genuine in his caring attitude - BUT - and this is really the crux of the matter - does that mean he is actually contacting the dead? Could there be another explanation for his apparent success?

ive always rated tony as a first class medium..my heart goes out to the people he read..especially that poor woman who had a son then a daughter pass...no parent should have to go through losing a child . hopefully these people feel secure in the knowledge their loved ones are safe on the other side of life xx
Tony did a wonderful job. Mediumship is hard work, and is done to help people who are grieving and to prove their loved one still lives but not in the physical world. When people understand that life does go on it becomes a message of hope for them. If you do not believe, then no one can change your mind probably. You will just have to wait until you pass to learn the truth.
Tony is right on with his readings. James Van Praagh who I also love and is right on had Tony come to Los Angeles 8/2010. I went to the event and Tony gave me a reading. I was his last one. I too have lost a son 15 killed instantly by a local drunk driver hit and run and spouse 18 months later of broken heart and Cancer. But this LA evening who wanted to come through was my parents and all my dad's Irish relatives and my mother's. Tony was right on describing my parent's looks and professions.

Richie Rich for a start there’s no need to be insulting to people - and what evidence does she give him? It’s like a stream of consciousness from him and it’s detailed. All he asks is for her to confirm or deny. I’ve seen mediums where they are clearly fishing but he isn’t. Anyhow if you don’t believe in it that’s fine but save your scorn for people who warrant it. I’ve always thought people who post nasty comments about others they have no knowledge of (with the anonymity of the internet) to be quite sad.

@@lizashling2786 It does seem to me that some try and make what a medium says, fit into their story, and just pick up on the accurate parts -, it may be called confirmation bias, but it's fascinating to hear and watch this actually happening during a live show.
Tony is amazing but it was distressing to see the non-reaction of the participants. No excitement, no emotion. That made it so unenjoyable. I would have been jumping for joy to hear from my loved one.
My dad has a temper and we sometimes argue but always part friends. He's a small man. He used to use Old Spice and ad the whole set - soap on a rope etc. Need I go on. I'm similar age to this lovely lady, but my dad is still alive. Oh and he used to grow tomatoes and would tell us that they were the best tasting toms. ever.
Imagine losing your son too suicide a daughter the day before your wedding and a 2 day old niece I don't know how people can come back from that type of devastation. 😢

I went to see Tony last night. He was nothing like this video. He was very off and slow. I saw him about 20 years ago so was really looking forward to seeing him again but was left very deflaed

Firstly this is not the entire show, but cherry picked examples of Tony's successes. Regarding the second reading, other than the name Christopher - which incidentally he implied was the name of the spirit - but it was in fact a friend's name - most of the rest is nothing more than what is very probable, given the death of a young man. It gives the impression of a lot of detail when in fact most of what Tony says is either logical extrapolation, or Barnum statements. For example, he begins with saying he has a young man who has passed - if no one had taken him up on this he would simply move on to an old man/ old woman etc. This young man is in his early 20's - and died outside and likes motorbikes, and died instantly. Well, all of that is simply logically the most likely: young men are most likely to die in accidents; young men like bikes; when we die from road accidents we usually die instantly.

All I am asking for is evidence and a little scepticism from the audience. The trouble is we are somewhat hard wired to want to believe. If you watch some of the old Randy TV shows - which confronted people who had been given readings - to justify their confidence in the reading, you will see how defensive people get. Their sense of the reading does not tally with the recordings made - they vastly over estimate the accuracy of the information given. Thing is - 20 years ago I was one of the non-sceptical, believing in all the woo, crowd - I have only come to scepticism and critical thinking - and believe me it is a daily struggle to maintain - in my later years - lol!!

However, there is no good evidence for life after death, and no one can demonstrate, under controlled conditions, that they are able to speak with the dead. The James Randi Foundation has one million dollars available to the first person who is able to demonstrate any psychic/paranormal abilities. The challenge has been going for decades and no one has managed to win the money yet. It is likely that Tony has had access to information, whether knowingly or otherwise, from the first woman. Perhaps via Facebook, as many people who are fans of these mediums create groups where they talk about their loved ones, and post stuff/share with others these details, Perhaps Tony, or an assistant, has read this lady's story? She may even have contacted him before for a private reading - she certainly seemed familiar with him. If Tony could perform this well under controlled conditions, then he would win the Randi money - my bet is that he can't. Lastly, have you ever noticed how the information given by the dead, is so often incorrect, or not quite correct, as well as being very general everyday stuff? If I wanted to prove beyond doubt (Tony's own words from his website) that these messages come from the dead, I'd make sure the dead didn't tell me the wrong things, and that they told me a bit about where they were, and what the journey was like after death.
The only thing that annoys me is why on earth he does that eye rolling thing. He seems to be trying to make his eyes go right into the back of his head. No need at all. I cant concentrate on what hes saying because I'm watching the big eye roll.
