Pavel Datsyuk better be inducted into the Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. While I didn’t get a chance to se him play (I was a little young), looking at his highlights and what he did with the puck was amazing to see. I think he’s kind of underrated, not really talked about anymore
After 17 years of being snubbed by The Hockey Hall of Fame Committee for his Role in beating a mighty TeamCanada in the 1996 World Cup of Hockey, in the year of the Goalie shouldnt Mike Richter be considered and along with Tom Barasso won the Silver medal for Team USA and dont forget he won a Cup with the Rangers along with Mark Messiet after giving the Rangers a chance at winning the cup in game 7 after stopping Pavel Bute in Game 6, wouldn't all these accomplishments make him forgivable for beating The formidable Team Canada team in 1996 World Cup of Hockey?
American players have been snubbed for years..Canada wants to forget about 96…Roenick,leclair,tzchuk and richter are player that should have been put in already if international play is also considered ..also these guy are guys that put up crazy goal numbers in the dead puck era and the goal crease era

Marleau per game stats are nothing amazing. He accumulated numbers due to longevity.
