46:14 They were making split point/split-tip bullets. Split point bullets, also known as split-tip or split-nose bullets, are a type of ammunition designed for firearms. They feature a small groove or hollow in the nose of the bullet, causing it to expand upon impact. When a split point bullet strikes a target, the impact causes the front portion of the bullet to deform and expand, creating a larger wound channel. This expansion transfers more energy to the target, resulting in increased tissue damage and a higher likelihood of incapacitating the target quickly. Honestly, my favorite part of the movie was that whole top-down sequence, where John was blowing everybody away with the exploding shotgun rounds. I couldn't stop laughing through that whole bit. 🤣 Seriously though, I also liked Caine's motivation for helping John get to the duel on time, because he understood what was at stake. After all, that whole agreement he made with the Marquis was contingent on his participation in the duel. If John had been declared in forfeit, the Marquis would have had no reason to keep his word and he would have reneged on the deal. So, win, lose or draw, that duel had to go down. It was the only way Caine could guarantee his daughter's safety (if not necessarily his own).

Finally got around to watching this. Someone in your comments section for the 3rd one told me there was a Hotline Miami reference in John Wick 4. That overhead shot was literally Hotline Miami. You guys should really play that game, it's soooooo good!
Splitting a bullet (cutting a notch or X on the top) causes it to fragment when it hits something, causing a lot more internal damage. It's like a homemade hollow point bullet, and in some cases is more damaging than a hollow point (but cheaper since you made it from a standard round).
@Kelvin Colbert John knew the rules. He got his revenge and thought he could just stay out. Then he killed someone in The Continental like an idiot. This IS his fault.
@@mten10th67 You cant blame everything on John. People make their own choices. John killing all of Iosef and his family made sense; he literally lost everything he loved. Santino making him come back, makes sense. But beyond that, EVERYONE else made their own choices. Winston did not have to buy John the hour of time. No one HAD to go after him. They wanted the money. Winston didnt have to pretend shoot him at the end of #3. And no one HAD to do anything in this movie. They could have said no and dealt with the consequences. Caine didnt have to have a kid, nor did Koji. They were already in the assassin world, they choose to be stupid and have kids knowing their lifestyle. Koji could have been an ass like Caine and not helped John. Especially the BS of Caine blaming Koji's death on John when Koji made all of the choices leading up to their fight and Caine killing him with his own hands. John is not to blame for anything except what happens directly to him. Thats literally the point of the movie. Consequences.
Against kevlar-style body armour a bow and arrow would be more effective than most handguns, kevlar is great at redistributing force, which is great for stopping bullets, but it had no protection against being cut by blades, like arrowheads. For the armor nerds out there, I know most modern body armour is made of composite materials for this very reason, but the body armour in John Wick suits is clearly flexible, not rigid like composite armor.
Cutting the tips of the bullets may make them operate more like hollowpoints, or it may make them fragment as soon as they're fired. It's one of those "don't try this at home" action movie tropes.
U didnt even know thats Donnie Yen at the start? He is the biggest action star in Asia. Ip man and no, he is fully blind! He is the breakout addition to the john wick franchise and he was also in "Rogue One"! So to have you guys still tryna figure out his name at the start is a little...mmm

Finally got around to watching this. Someone in your comments section for the 3rd one told me there was a Hotline Miami reference in John Wick 4. That overhead shot was literally Hotline Miami. You guys should really play that game, it's soooooo good!
Something I figured out about this franchise, watching John Wick 4. It's about family.
Splitting a bullet (cutting a notch or X on the top) causes it to fragment when it hits something, causing a lot more internal damage.
It's like a homemade hollow point bullet, and in some cases is more damaging than a hollow point (but cheaper since you made it from a standard round).
A small moment which stood out to me - John fighting that guy near the big drum ... being all 'bang-bang, thump' , 'bang-bang, thump' .. xD
Watch The Equalizer next! Equalizer 3 comes out this year!
Man, Cody really does not want to blame John for anything even though it's almost all his fault
But what was he supposed to do they killed his dog!
Consequences.
the fire rounds actually exist in real life by the way, they are not custom or made up. They are called Incendiary rounds of Dragon's breath rounds
Those fiery shotgun rounds are called dragons breath. They have magnesium mixed with the gunpowder
I swear y’all have become my fav reaction channel.
I want an Akira spinoff where she hunts Caine, it would be like Kill Bill, also did you know that scene was filmed showing his death first
Cutting the tips of the bullets may make them operate more like hollowpoints, or it may make them fragment as soon as they're fired. It's one of those "don't try this at home" action movie tropes.
Winston is my favorite character from the franchise
If John doesn't seem to hold a grudge against Winston, then neither should you
U didnt even know thats Donnie Yen at the start? He is the biggest action star in Asia. Ip man and no, he is fully blind! He is the breakout addition to the john wick franchise and he was also in "Rogue One"! So to have you guys still tryna figure out his name at the start is a little...mmm
The lady dj telling the blow by blows is a sequence that was put in as a nod to a movie called "The Warriors". Another movie you guys will like.
I am convinced that in the John Wick universe, everyone on the planet is either an assassin or works with/for assassins.
Those shotgun rounds are called Dragons breathe shells! They are fkn awesome!!
The most unrealistic thing of this movie that triggered me were the muscle cars in Paris😂😂
Rest In Peace Lance Reddick.
17:16 was a nice callback to Ip Man.
I love the reference to the 1979 movie warriors,, directed by Walter Hill
I forgot that I wanted to also say how John Wick 4 suddenly becomes a reboot of The Warriors out of nowhere!
For another really good action movie, Upgrade is so underrated!
FYI: Those 12 guage shotgun fire rounds are real, they're called Dragon's Breath.
When you said he's has to fight a magician 😂 spilled soda everywhere!!!
Love your reactions
"His dog died 4 days ago" yoo, I laughed way too much at this!
The Raid and the Raid 2. Because without them, John Wick action would never be
11:42 i died laughing xD
Glad yall were shocked by ending, great reaction
Fun fact, the flaming shotgun bullets are a real thing. Its called Dragons Breath and its a shotgun shell filled with magnesium shards that ignite when fired
“20 million” “what are you broke???” 😂
"Does he have a speech impediment? Oh no, he's French" HAH
Always a blast watching you guys react to the Wick films!!! Let's go!!! 🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
The two songs that I liked from the club scene in Belgium are Wetwork and Blood Code by Le Castle Vania.
This is a trip. Before I watched this reaction, I was catching up on the GoT reactions. Fun fact, ‘Katia’ 32:06 also plays in GoT as ‘Osha’ -and my oh my, doesn’t “I AM KLAUS!!” remind you of “Hodor” lmao, a trip.
when he shot John off the roof it was part of the plan i believe he knew Winston was going to do it, thats why he gave the gun back to him
44:13 That's the Louis Vuitton Foundation, a museum in Paris, designed by Frank Gehry. I've actually been in it, and it's breathtaking. It has a great collection too
losing my marbles at the "he's blind" "*gasp*, that's not why they call him cain(e) is it??" aSKDFJasddkljfdsf
John Wick speaks more with bullets than words
Ian McShane aka Winston used to be in a TV show called Lovejoy. Crime fighting and antiques. Worth taking a look.
when killa told john why won't you just die reminded me of a similar scene in snatch!
I want to see a movie where we can see the prime John Wick where he started and earns the title of babayaga
Unless they showed John being put in a body bag, taken to a mortuary, showed him being embalmed, put into a casket, lowered into the ground and then covered with dirt...I'm not convinced he's dead.
Does he have a speech impediment?
No, hes just french 😂
When I watched this the other day the big dude with the gold teeth instantly reminded me of Penguin from The Batman (2022).
John's dog at the grave turned his head to look at someone
No one realizing that the guy with the gold teeth is Scott Adkins shows he did a great job.
Those shotgun shells that shoot fire are called dragons breath
Oh and the shot with fire is called Dragons breath 😎
Guys you KNOW Donnie Yen, come on, he's a legend. He starred in the Ip Man movies, he was also in Rogue One, where he played yet another blind man :D
There is a theory that Winston is John Wick's father in law That’s why he is so lenient towards John Wick
We still have Ana De Armas' Ballerina spin-off and The Continental prequel series to look forward to.
funny thing is if you pay attention to where they were both shot they shot each other in the same spots that the doctor said wouldn't be lethal.
1st off...RIP Lance Reddick! Second...I believe john is still alive. Him dying is a roos. Strongly believe that. Great reaction guys as always. Love you guys and look forward to the next one
Do you guys know Scott Adkins
He played Killa
He is one of the best martial artist
His action in his filmography (Undisputed) are crazy AF
